With r/r in operation there could be more time between heats so could take a bit longer than usual. In this Piratecast-sponsored meeting I shall be vacating my usual grandstand seat and joining the guests for some hospitality in the glass restaurant/stand. Not a favourite viewing position but I guess once a season is ok - still get to see the pits early and see some heats from centregreen. COYP. I still think this will be a tight meeting, having watched the 'depleted' Bears at Plymouth last night, they were gating very well, although Glads were probably a little 'ring rusty'!

The Poole/SGP DJ plays Rocketman every time Richard wins a race, so it's played quite a lot! It adds to the great atmosphere at Poole meetings. Each visiting team has its own music played on the parade as each team enters the centregreen. Sweet Caroline is also belted out before heat 15!

And Wright is missing tonight and tomorrow for Redcar

I think he meant as Dan is not riding tonight for Plymouth due to his shoulder injury then he won't be riding Wednesday either.

Not at all Lewy - just be nice to see them race on a nice smooth, well-prepared track, (You must have forgotten what thats like at Plymouth?) but he'll be at Birmingham as I've said.

I'm sure Rocketman would love it to be Barker!!! (But yes Barker is due to be at Birmingham.)

Although I don't agree about Worralls focus, I do still agree it could well be a very close meeting with the result going either way.

He and Garry May said it was riders from both teams - not just the 2 that did the practice laps - that weren't prepared to ride! Mark Phillips didn't blame anybody or anything - except the weather. He did have a sideways pop at Greg (who he called Grant!) Blair's comments!
