David James is in Devon and hardly - if ever - comes to Wimborne Road! He's been blocked on several social platforms and 'ignored' on others. Its one of the reasons I don't do twitter. As for Steve Worrall, he's had some sickly engines and a sickly body lately. He'll be fine.

Rob Dyer was centregreen last night. Nigel Leahy had a last minute family issue to deal with. I guess it depends where you are in the stadium. In the centre of the grandstand Rob was very clear but also very LOUD!! Nigel is usually spot on.

In an 'underwhelming' meeting - aside from the imperious Douglas - all Pirates scored solidly if not to the usual double figures for most. Track conditions certainly didn't help after a few hot dry sunny days. Moving on.........

Maybe its the plan to also have Sedgy on Wednesday and again at Oxford next Tuesday, with Danny King lined up for next Wednesday if Richard not fit?

So Richard Lawson in hospital for a couple of days to monitor lung/chest damage from the heat 15 crash. Fortunately no broken bones but he'll miss Thursday's meeting. Justin Sedgman takes Richard's Poole place on Wednesday!
