I was thinking would it now be possible to have the grand prix series in the winter months,some of my reasons are; 1 A lot more multi use stadiums around then ever before,with roofs that it doesnt matter what time of year the GPs are as it will always be on. 2 Australia instead of being last ,can kick of the series if the Gp is a succes ,if this years event is good for the country.Maybe even 2 Gps there with New zealand back on the calender.USA,Argentina maybe as well. 3 League racing in the uk will be much more stable in terms of racing regularly(weekly) on the clubs race night.Also allows clubs to maybe race on a saturday in the summer which could be good business for them. 4 Still have Gps in europe at stadiums with no roof,but make sure the venue has covers,correct equipment,etc There has to be a better way to fit the Gps around the bread and butter league racing in this country,i for one just cant get into the season with so much start/stop racing with big gaps with league fixtures,and to be honest im losing any interest in who is leading the league tables in this country ,and for the first time ever i havnt a clue what teams have got what points and where they are in the league table.This year i only go to watch speedway live,ive no interest in league tables etc,which is very rare for me to say,i just hope i see a good meeting.

Very strange meeting from ALL somerset riders,it looked liked someone had hpnotized them before the meeting started,or they had just spent hours on the beach sunbathing and thought they would just rock up to this meeting,very strange. R Worrel -In his first heat ive never seen anyone so focused on the green light,so focused he forgot to watch the tapes go up!!! Bradly kurtz seems to be dialled in at Sheffield every week,but looks to have forgot the quickist way round Somerset!!! L Lanham Never at the races and getting in his teamates way. Josh G -looks like he still has his mind on the Lewis Kerr injury,which is a shame as hes been very good all year. All in all one of the worst team performances of the season from somerset,very strange that so many riders were off key.

Yes maybe Doyle did turn left a bit earlier then normal,we agree on that but he had to take a tight line because of his team mate on the outside.yes Doyle maybe should of been more aware as ive said earlier,but Nicki had made up his mind sometime yesterday that he was coming(in a straight line)no matter what,with no get out plan.You cant just do that when you are not in the lead,with the home riders in front of you,and expect to get away with it,Doyle had every right to move across and Nicki should really have waited for a better chance to path.

I can see where you are coming from,and Doyle should have been more aware,but when you are trying to team ride and are in front you just cant barrow into someone and hope to get away with it.Its a difficullt one and i normally stick up for Nikki ,but he was asking for trouble making that move,and in my eyes had to go.

A major point in what happened,was Doyle knew his partner was with him and wasnt going at fall speed INTO the corner as he was trying to let his partner into the corner first,i think he was more thinking about that rather then expecting Nikki to steam under him.!!(not a wise thing to do!!!!)Nikki rightly excluded,end of matter,just tough racing

Depends how you look at Zagar being in the wrong place at the wrong time with the crash!! Yes he was unlucky to be involved BUT WAS HE lucky in that heat as his steel shoe had already came loose just after the start,so where would he have finished if the race had continued?

iLL most proberly get shot down for saying this ,but im sick and tired meetings being pushed through so they can get a result if 10 heats are raced.For once i think the ref Dave Robinson had the bulls to get down to the pits and make the decision ,which was to call a halt.So many times ive been at meetings when they just completely rush through to get to heat 10 as fast as possible at all costs, sometimes its just a blur as to what ive paid good money to watch.then once they get to heat 10 they either mess about or call the meeting off straight away.I want to go to a meeting,have a beer, after a days work and enjoy the meeting.In my mind theres nothing worse then rushing through a meeting at supersonic speed.Well down to Dave Robinson in running the meeting as it should be and then making the decision to call a halt regardless of which heat we are at.

Is there a chance Jason might be invited into the Australian GP in some way.Could he get a wildcard?!!!!

Still nothing on the Ipswich website about Tugate and his 21 day ban.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS -Apart from that the Ipswich website looks very good.

From a neutrals point of view i went into viewing the video with an open mind,but lets be honest here Tugate is 100% guilty of knocking Auty off.How anyone can stick up for him is madness.Facts 1- The number 1 point is that Davies was going to get an easy second place.Tugate was never going to catch him. 2- Tugate was still traveling at a speed where he could easily have broadsided the bike round the corner then shut off down the straight. 3-Davies if anyone was the one that was going to hit Auty but he wasnt even close to Auty.Has Davis said anything about his fellow Aussie as he had the best seat in the house with what happened. 4-I DONT believe Tugate had the intention of hurting Auty,but why he is covering what happened up is making it 10 times worse in my eyes.Be a man go up to Auty,and tell him the true facts that he was annoyed and just wanted a small pay back,where he clashed with Auty in the first running of heat 10. Super camera work by the way as this after heat 10 clash could so easily have been missed.

I remember Joe Screen knocking the arm of Jimmy Nielsson (wrong spelling!!) after a race and jimmy fell to the ground but i dont remember what Joe Screen got in the way of a punishment,anyone remember?

There are words flying about with people calling redcar cheats,but everyone was happy before the meeting started that everything was correct and in order.Now the meeting is live,both teams start 0-0, and everything to play for.The fact Kus wins heat 8 should have nothing to do with it,its just sour grapes that somerset tried to protest,right or wrong everyone was happy to race,and if i was the somerset team manager i would have taken it on the chin myself,as we all agreed at the start of the meeting that everyhing was correct.

Also the way Tutum smirks and giggles everytime a rider hits the airfence drives me mad.Fair play to Charles Wright for giving it a go to chase Howarth but when he crashed at the end of the race, Tatum giggles away for no reason.Im maybe reading it more then it actual is but it still annoys me.

Philip is it easy for machine examiners in the pits for league meeting etc,to know if these NEW engines are legal or not?
