speedwaysliders replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Nice to tell the riders before they make arragements to come to the uk,practice and get sorted for the Kings Lynn round on may 7th.Jonathan Iturre from Argentina did this and now he ends up going to Lonigo Italy.Talk about being messed around for his first attempt at quifications. -
Plymouth Vs Rye House (lc) - 15/04/16
speedwaysliders replied to ellioth4's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Nice to see Edward going so well,i think thats 17 races without being beaten by an opponent!!! -
Ive never liked the track at leicester, but i have to say at least they are trying put right, what should have happened from the start. There were too many people with a view as to how to design a trac, one minute sam ermolenko was involved the next he wasnt. At least the racing seemed to get better as the meeting went on and justin S did come from last to second in his final ride, showing you can pass done on the white line if riders are not careful.OK it was only Ulamek whos not very good when not leading, but at least it shows you can pass either round the boards or down low on turn 3 and 4.Think Leicester fans will start to enjoy their meetings from now on,its looking good.

Rye House V Ipswich Witches 9th April
speedwaysliders replied to Baldyman's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Made my first visit to Rye for quite some time. On the plus side, looks like they have all the kit to produce a decent race track. The viewing is great,Rye look solid. On the minsus side ,no lighting on the way out of the stadium through the car park.!!,can someone tone down the 2 minute buzzer down, its quite loud if you dont expect it right next to you!!! Nice to see Robert Mear doing about 12 laps trying to sort out his bike problems, who knows can he double up?!! Trevor Swales was spotted with osterguaard.Must have been on a scouting mission for next week!!!! Just a quick word on the witches,as others have said Nico looks class, and you have to feel a bit sorry for Paco,he tried 100% even off 15m,Its the first time ive seen him,the amount of flak hes got on here i thought he was very unlucky tonight, and im sure he will come good. -

TIMO Lahti always has first class equipment, hes a gater, and the Leicester track would be ideal.Maybe he has other things planned ,but surely worth a try.

I couldnt care less if it rains, have they high tec track covers installed at the stadium for easy use.SOMEONE must know.Lessons learned from past call offs surely they would have built in motorized track covers, that allow working on the track while it rains overhead!!!!!! -

This is kinda getting out of hand, theres no way way rob deserved so much stick,he has his views like any of us on here, but Rob if you just explained yourself that you rubbed shoulders with eddie bull and world champions in both grasstrack and side cars, including the wigg family, you would be in a far better place,to help and answer questions on here about machinery, etc, just turn it around and stop banging heads with people.

Thank god i got to see heat 14 before sky plus cut me off again!!! what was the heat result in heat 15,anything good happen?!!! -
Phillip is there any reason why the fans cant get simple tech details for the start of a GP? .Ie riders engine Tuner, make of tyres used ect.Simple stuff, that when im sitting at home i dont have to think for example is Greg on a diff tyre to anyone else,GM comes in kit form to the tuner,so it would be nice to see which tuner has got the best out of a GM engine on the night. It cant be that hard surely to find out before the racing starts.I know riders chop and change but just get someone on the night to find out which engine tuners are doing which bikes. Also its been a while now about the new engine chris Harris in trying, has it been serviced yet or has it been left alone as that was the selling point in the first place. Thanks in advance.

Coventry V Swindon - Wednesday 2nd September
speedwaysliders replied to NeilWatson's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
James Sargent has found a way to make a perfect start, either watching the magnets or he has great reflexes.I do feel sorry for him as hes clearly looking at something on the starting gate that gives him an advantage and hes been well and truelly battered for it.If he is watching the magnets on the starting gate, its the tapes themselves that are causing problems as at some tracks they go up so uneven, look loose,or go up with a bowed effect. In my eyes hes just unlucky that tracks are using naff old equipment, plus refs seem to be focusing on him.
