You seem to think I don’t want Peterborough to win the league. That isn’t true. I really don’t care who wins the league.
However, as I said yesterday, if Batchelor gets going and Sheffield make it past Belle Vue, I think they will overcome Peterborough.
Approx 30%. The tv money doesn’t make up for the shortfall. Add in having to ride on Mondays and Thursdays, the same opposition every 3 weeks and it becomes very unattractive.
I was against Poole dropping down but considering the league is double the size and there is no difference bar a couple of riders in team strengths, it’s a no brainer.
Haven’t missed it at all due to the leagues being of virtually the same strength and more teams in the Championship. While it remains this way I am happy for the club to remain in the league with the most teams. And impossible to pick who will win the league as well. Enjoy the 6 team league.
It’s crap and embarrassing when a rider does that, regardless of team. If it happened earlier in the meeting a ref should be able to give a red card. Poland have that rule for exactly that type of behaviour.
Morris should have been out.
A horrible trick track made even worse by the rain shower. Hope the locals have brought their Horlicks and slippers. Going to be a long night at this rate.
