  1. More passing at Poole compared to Leicester. Finally a decent race with Doyle there.
  2. This is dire entertainment for the neutral. Crap racing, crowd so old the two small stands total up thousands of years. Was looking forward to this but zzzzzzzz so far.
  3. Totally the right call to award that heat. Brennan was way back and not in contention. Why give him a second opportunity? I am completely neutral and don’t give a damn who wins. Ellis was the most exciting rider so far. Really gave it a go. Did well for Poole last night as well. Get well soon Adam.
  4. Flew up a couple of years ago when cop26 was on. Travel Lodge at £650 a night. 😛 Too far, easy to watch stream. Yes it’s rubbish to being there but too just too far.
  5. No passing tonight after second bend in 15 heats. As each lap went on riders got more spaced out. I didn’t find it dull due to what was at stake, but for a neutral it must have been a very poor watch. But Redcar only have themselves to blame. The overwatering took away any home advantage, rendering Wright and Kings passing ability obsolete. What were they seriously thinking? They went into tonight’s meeting as clear favourites. I was thinking the worst at heat one but when Thomsen gated and held off Wright, I thought, hmmm, perhaps we might be in with a sniff. Wright and King had a terrible meeting. There was no consistency with any Redcar rider. I bet next week the track is completely different and will suit the Redcar team much better. Pirates will need a bigger lead to take back up there.
  6. Possible difference is Championship might be classed as a pro league and NL as amateur. Either way the facility was granted and rightly so. If Wright was replaced tonight on compassionate grounds, there wouldn’t be a single Poole fan questioning it.
  7. I have been critical of Kerr for most of this season. Very poor the first half of the season, slowly improving but then EF’s. Tonight he showed why he was signed. Top performance. 13 points. Well done to him.
  8. Joel Parsons? Wasn’t he the guy that rode over another rider and was sacked from his club and banned?
  9. Won the meeting as well. Not been any passing all night. King tried this novelty idea and took off Will Cairns. Other than that the races were settled after the second bend lap one. Made Poole’s track look like Bydgosczcz.
  10. What a good performance. Fully deserved. We gave Redcar the opportunity and they effed up their track. Gate and go and thank you very much.
  11. Would fancy us full strength but not this time. Redcar look strong, and we have Kerr back from injury. Close but no cigar. Prove me wrong boys!
  12. Completely as predicted. Didn’t have to watch it to know Edinburgh were short of a lead.
  13. Edinburgh completely vulnerable in 13, 14, 15. The last few heats in the first leg cost them big time.
  14. Doubt it will be very big as friends I have spoken to are not bothering. I will watch the stream instead.
  15. LINE-UP: Adam Ellis, Will Cairns, Zach Cook, Vinnie Foord, Anders Rowe, Tobias Thomsen, Drew Kemp, Kevin Juhl Pedersen, Paul Starke, Jonas Jeppesen, Fraser Bowes, Edward Kennett, Richard Lawson, Darryl Ritchings, Scott Nicholls, Lewis Kerr. Kerr surely not riding. Lawson back? Eddie Kennett? Interesting that he still wants to ride speedway. Poole clearly looking at Pedersen and Jeppesen for 26.
  16. No Castagna. Out for season. Palm Toft might be injured, Palovaara off the boil. Edinburgh needed 18 points imo. Think Glasgow will do them.
