I have been going to Poole since 1985. I have never heard anyone say what you have said you heard. In general Poole fans are plenty, knowledgeable and fair. For it to happen twice in your two visits is frankly ridiculous. You over egged your made up story.

Here’s the first running of heat ten last night. Cooper Rushen doesn’t kick Etheridge at all, just outgated him and Etheridge falls. All four back fair decision.

Hey Siri, show me something that never happened.

Should imagine the rule makers will be summoning Etheridge to explain himself. Throwing a punch at a minor carries a severe penalty.

I remember Berwick v Poole at Berrington Lough where Poole’s John Gould’s bike cleared the safety fence and narrowly missed the fans standing there!

For those that haven’t seen the Rushen / Etheridge incident.

Financially Plymouth v Berwick is not what the Plymouth promotion wanted. Only a handful of away fans at each meeting while Poole would have bought down a lot of fans and vice versa. But there is clear lethargy in the Pirates camp. Clear for fans to see. Worst effort I have seen in many seasons. In fact since Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder went on the piss the night before we rode at Ipswich in the 2019 playoff semi final second leg.

Nothing to do with riding a bike. Etheridge went for a space that wasnt there. Rushen was always in front and never touched him. All immaterial now as Berwick are clear and away. They have been the better team tonight and good luck to them in the final.

Throttle goes both ways. Cooper was clear in front. Shocking call. Etheridge should have been out.

That is a disgraceful decision bar none.

Simon Lambert (G) - FX, 1, 1, 0 Newman even worse. Berwick up for it we riding like on Wednesday. Never enough.

We are completely weak at reserve as Kyle just doesn’t have any speed in those old bikes of his.

Agree. Lethargy in the Pirates camp. Needs to be stamped out and quickly.

Look at the difference between Cooper Rushen and Zach Cook. One going through the motions while the other is hungry.

Cook completely disinterested there. Smith beat him by a mile.

Lambert did a great job there.

Zach Cooks worst track. Think this one got away from us on Wednesday. No Cairns just adds to the issue. Need to gate.

Got to admit Berwick are clear favourites here after Wednesdays inexplicably poor performance. Stupid dropped points, a lack of interest from certain riders and no Lawson probably cost us a place in the final. With Jenkins at reserve and likely to take 7 rides, it will be a surprise if we manage to get through, especially as we are missing Will Cairns and Rushen has never been there. Excuses done.

We done Berwick it all fell into place for them tonight and they must be favourites to go through. A catalogue of silly errors, falls an inept riding from Poole tonight. But special mention to the track staff with a decent prepared track and no dust to speak of. First of all Lawson was sorely missed. Harris was a woeful guest to be honest and made no impact. Plenty of dirt down he just played follow the leader. Made no effort to pass Bowes in heat 6 and was tailed off in his last ride. Bowes must be in borrowed time. Kerr was unlucky to lose a chain when on a 5-1. Cook looked disinterested. Rushen overtried and cost himself and the team a few points. Cairns was solid as was Newman after bike issues in his first. But the performance was lacklustre. No intent. Berwick chipped away with what looked like a weak team but had a trump card at 7 with Jenkins who rode well. The others ride OK but did enough to keep it close. They have to be favourites to go through.
