  1. Welcome Ty, I think that's a strong looking side with a couple of guys on what look to be falsely low averages. Of course the real test will be on track but im a happy supporter.
  2. Dakota North is at Swindon so he could be your number 1.
  3. Any that require throttle control, he seems to constantly be fighting his bike. This may come as he matures as a rider. He says he likes dirt but I'm not so sure, he did most of his passing on the inside of turns 1&2 at Workington and didn't seem to have the bottle to get around the outside on 3&4 as Kenneth, Rene or Rusty could. If his head is in the game he could do well with a change of scene.
  4. My own opinion is that we will see an improvement in his average this year, couple this with how good he is with the fans and I think he's a good signing. Welcome back Mason. Seems like he's being made out to be the figure of all that is wrong with the visa issues, wonder what else we can blame him for? The Kennedy Assassination? Global Warming? It's not his fault, he just wants to race his bike at the highest level he can and see where it gets him, nothing wrong with following your dream Mason, hope it works out for you.
  5. Thanks for that, it's a big risk to put all his eggs in one basket in my opinion
  6. Has Taylor Poole qualified for his visa yet? I was surprised not to see him in the state titles at the weekend so I presume he must be sorted.
  7. Hope we get the team announced next week
  8. Ah ok, my mistake. Can cross Zack W off the list, he did a couple of meetings for Sheffield last season
  9. If they've ridden in the PL they can still be the number 7, just as long as they haven't got an average over 3.00, that's why Williamson, Greaves and Perry are riding already
  10. We have a proper number 1 in Ricky, performs home and away, not many riders in the league have a bigger average than him
  11. That's fair enough but the KOC fixture against Rye was agreed after the start of the season when the Polish fixtures were out. All depends on which team you are as to what rules apply!
  12. How can Somerset get a facility for Jensen when he's not riding in his own country? When Worky were at Redcar we could only use a NL rider at number 1 to cover for Hansen as he was riding in Sweden and similarly when we rode at Rye House on a Sunday and he was in Poland. I'm sure some bright spark with a rule book will tell me but it strikes me as double standards
  13. Try looking in the Plymouth section, this thread is for Sunday's meeting
  14. Matt was doing just fine for Workington, would happily see him back next year. He bagged a paid 10 plus a few 5s and 6s so was doing his bit for sure and being competitive. On the subject of Sheffield though I hope Steady returns for you, love to watch him in full flow
  15. Which is why it's a stupid rule, should only go on the National title, say top 10. It's far fairer, it's a 3 round comp rather than a one off make or break
  16. It's a stupid rule anyway, he finished 3rd in a round of the NATIONAL champs (7th overall I think) ahead of riders like Masters, Sedgman, Fricke and Grajczonek but missed out because he crashed in his own state champs. He has plenty of potential and if he qualifies this year then he will deserve to be here
  17. Depending on the points limit and visa situation I can see Mason next, maybe even Matt as Laura stated he wanted to return in the newspaper
  18. I think a change of scenery would do both Kyle and Rene good, Rene may not even do the UK next year after riding well in Sweden. It was quite sad to hear Rene's interview last night, he knows he's much better than he's shown over here this year, gave glimpses of it last night with passes on Wolbert and Masters, best of luck to them both whatever happens
  19. Hynek was great tonight, really battled for his points. Track was drier tonight (probably due to the weather and amount of watering?) which meant it wasn't as good racing as previous weeks but I thought Rene's last 2 heats were really great, not seen that enough which is a shame because he's great like that. Great news about Ricky and Kenneth returning, was a great way to do it at the beginning and end of the meeting, created a bit of a show
  20. Loved it last night, good to see a bigger crowd. There seemed a good buzz around the place following a positive meeting on Friday at the Waverly, long may it continue
  21. it's not Kenneth's fault there were 17 riders unavailable. It's not like he dropped them in it on Friday afternoon
