Krsko 2017 - Round 1

Would love to see that line up at Belle Vue. Surely somebody is pushing for them to get a GP next year, in addition to Cardiff ? -
Ipswich V Peterborough April 15th 7.30pm
proud panther replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Think it was bladed to help Lasse, but he finished last, so it didn't work. Can't believe people are making a fuss, they obviously haven't ever been to Eastbourne when Dugard was blatantly doctoring the track virtually every race. -
Nobody has given any reason why Glyn was sacked. Personally, I would understand the situation better if I had these facts. Not Knocking the new track man, but if something isn't broken, there's no need to fix it.

Peterborough Vs Ipswich Non 17th April

Very impressed with Connor Mountain, deserved more points, & always in the mix. Think the Witches will be the team to beat when Newman returns, so a good win for the Panthers. -

Fear we will lose today. Bacon needs to get off the white line, & beat the Witches reserves to have any chance in my opinion. -
Could Alex Davies fit in his kevlars, because he looked a bit overweight last season, & hasn't ridden for 6 months +.

Was Richard Hall ok after his fall on the back straight ? Looked nasty from where i was standing. -

Love him or hate him, Ben Barker is worth the admission fee, with his all action racing. I'm probably in the minority, but I think he is brilliant to watch. -
The larger bar will help the fans the way Scunny are going, because they will need a few drinks to witness getting beat most weeks. Wallner was an accident waiting to happen, must have fallen in half his races this season. Still a shame for him, but hope he calms down a bit when he comes back, because he is a danger to other riders.

Can see this being close, with Panthers to win by 6. -
King's Lynn Stars 2017
proud panther replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Track grading at Kings Lynn has the same effect as a bald man combing his hair. Buster will never rush a meeting, because he want's you in the stadium as long as possible to spend money on food, drink etc. -
Wallner was a disgrace, fell & stayed on the track when we were leading, & then fell & cleared the track when his partner was ahead. We got a 5-1 in the rerun, so it backfired, & he isn't the first rider to do it, but I think the rules need to be looked at to stop it happening. Good performance from Panthers, & there is more to come from a few of our boys. Hope Hansen isn't going to be a 2 track pony like last year, because if he scores well away, I think we can surprise a few teams on our travels.

Damien Bates has done more in 6 weeks than that muppet Helmsley did in 4 years. Get down on Saturday, & support the man, because it's very exciting times for Leicester fans in my opinion.

Very true Lukas, Simon lent Lewis Blackbird 1 of his Peter John's engines a couple of years back. Team spirit is very important in my opinion. -

Lambert scored good points away, so his awkward style must suit away tracks as well. As long as any rider scores points, it doesn't matter how he looks on the track. Garrity has got an awful style, but people say he is exciting. -

Given an injury free run, Simon can improve his average in my opinion. He is also very good in the pits for team spirit. -
Really pleased to hear that another new promotion are trying to win the fans back by improving the track.

Good track & good meeting in my opinion. Hope Lewis Kerr is ok after another bad looking crash. -
Ruthless, but the right decision in my opinion if the riders dropped would miss matches to ride abroad. Next season, the BSPA should only allow riders that prioritise our leagues to ride here.

Can see this being close, with Panthers coming out on top by 6-8 points. Just hope the track is grippy, because both teams are full of real racers, & it promises to be a cracker. -

This Seasons Number 7s
proud panther replied to ProudtobeaBrummie's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Hope the number 7's are guaranteed pay for 3 points, or they won't have any chance of breaking even, never mind make a profit. -
Neil, what does Horton actually own ? Would guess any riders that are assets of Coventry, but is there anything else ?
