  1. Branford was very impressive for Rye House at Peterborough towards the end of last season. His attitude is a lot better than it was a couple of years back, & I expect him to improve his average next season, especially if he ends up at Sheffield, as expected.
  2. Good luck to Craig Cook next season. Was a pleasure to watch at the Showground last season, & would have loved to have him back this season.
  3. Chris is still very friendly with the family that he lodged with when he first rode over here, & they live in Whittlesey. He always pays for a box at Cardiff for them, top bloke in my opinion.
  4. Don't understand all this negative feeling regarding Paul Starke. Improved again last year, & well capable of upping his average next season. I would be happy with him & BWD as the last 2 riders.
  5. Whilst delighted that Coventry appear to be coming to the tapes next season, this still doesn't make any sense to me. Sandhu is out of pocket, & Horton will still struggle to pay the alleged rent. Hope their isn't another twist in this unsavoury saga.
  6. One thing is certain here, Horton hasn't got enough money to put the stadium back together. Mindless by Sandhu, & a kick in the gonads for all the wonderful Coventry fans that stood by him a few years ago. Greed appears the motive here, a very sad sign of the times.
  7. Will the Coventry team move up the road to Leicester, because apart from a few rumours, they havent signed anyone yet. Desperately sorry for the brilliant Coventry fans if this proves to be the end of the Bees.
  8. BWD would be a better option than Grondal if it fits.
  9. Well I like Ulrich, & would have him in the side on his current average, same as Simon. We need to build a good team spirit, & those 2 are perfect on that score. Really think they will also up their averages.
  10. Feel really sorry for the Coventry fans, with the stadium in turmoil, & no press release from the promotion. Neil Watson is getting stick on here, but at the end of the day, he is only Horton's puppet, & won't put a statement on here. Fear the worst, but hope I am wrong. Seeing the once wonderfull stadium being ripped apart is heartbreaking, but I'm still hoping for a miracle explanation.
  11. Would love Bewley to be at reserve, after the way he rode the Showground last year.
  12. Can't believe you Witches fans don't want Heeps back. If he can avoid injury, he will make a mockery of his starting average, in my opinion.
  13. Have to agree with Flappy, we built the team from the bottom up, & then realised we couldn't get a number 1, & ended up 2 points below the limit.
  14. Would only want Leicester if they alter bends 1 & 2.
  15. Brilliant news that Plymouth have new owners, especially the fact that it isn't Bowden. Hope that Plymouth have a good season, & get some stability, so that there is no doubt's about running in the future.
  16. Was impressed with Bates last season, & he looked a lot quicker than 2015. Just needs to calm down when behind, as he doesn't always ride the right lines, but that will come with experience. Would like him at Peterborough next season.
  17. Does reducing the carb size make the bike harder or easier to handle ? Not very clued up on engines, so what are the advantages of a smaller carb ?
  18. Can't believe any Sheffield fan would have any doubt's about their promotion. They are brilliant in my opinion, & I fully expect them to have a team challenging for the title.
  19. Thank you Flappy for getting back on thread, the rest is getting so boring.
  20. Where has it been confirmed that Chris Morton has lost his house through Belle Vue's debt's ? Seems strange he still want's to be part of the new promotion if he has.
  21. Problem is jenga, you are the only person that thinks you are funny.
  22. Thanks Flappy, is there a better option than Phillips up to 2.88 ?
  23. Think Bwitcher's team looks as good as any team suggested in the league up to yet, but obviously matches are won on the track, not on paper.
