Great move by Ged yet again, with loads of Coventry fans bumping the attendance.

Went to Hull KR v Sheffield Sunday, & it was £26 for adults, & £20 for concessions. Far too much for 2nd tier rugby in my opinion. Still got over 7000 fans through the gate. Give me speedway any day of the week against that.

Surely if the council want Brandon stadium to be saved, they should allow planning on half the site in return for the stadium & other half of the site being signed over to them. They could then lease this to a speedway promoter & put some money in their coffers.

Gutted for all Coventry fans, & the riders who stayed loyal when they could have possibly been fixed up at another club. Hope I'm wrong, but can't see any way back for the Bees from here.

Can't wait for the season to start. With most teams looking competitive, I'm looking forward to some awesome racing at the Showground. I'm currently trying to get a few friend's to come along and sample the racing, & would urge other supporters to do the same.

Would expect Horton to say he can't comment on the Brandon situation, as it may affect the chances of going back there in the future.

The least likely people to take on any debt's will be the new owners. Don't forget the last owners were a limited company.

Thanks rider slider. Really pleased the house has been altered to make life a little easier for Ricky. His Dad came across as an amazing loyal parent on a video clip I watched a while back.

Does anyone have any recent updates on how Ricky is doing, & if his house was modified with the money from his benefit meeting ? I will never forget that awful night at Scunthorpe when he had his accident, or the silence on the journey home, as we were all in shock.

If the British final is at Belle Vue, I will make every effort to attend, because there is a very good chance the racing will be top notch. Don't think it will be as good as the World cup though, as that was something special.

I fear that if the Bees aren't back at Brandon by July, there won't be enough money from the Leicester experience to complete the season. Hope & pray that they go back to a re-furbished Brandon, & get the chance to stay there until a new home is found. Will go to watch them at Leicester early in the season, to try & help them keep their head above water, & urge other neutral fans to do the same.
