Peterborough Panthers 2015

Not enough points for him to be number 1, but a good rider in my opinion. -

Think the fans will be happy with our new rider, but will let the management announce it. -

We cant get out the gate, & with a slick track that will cause problems. Credit to Plymouth, they deserved the win on the day. We need to prepare the track grippy if we want to get the best out our current team of racers. -

Don't think we will make the play offs unless we find a gem to replace Olly. -

James Wright isn't in a declared 1-7, but guests occasionally. -

dazpanther, tend to agree that Grondal wont get near to his assessed 7 point average, but R/R for the rest of the season isn't ideal either. The new management need to build their own asset base, so may go with Grondal, & hope he comes good in the future. -
Peterborough V Glasgow 24/6/15
proud panther replied to Noodles's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The crowd was good for a sky match, although a lot of people got in for free. Thought the meeting was good from the grandstand, but maybe that was down to the score being close. Although there wasn't as much overtaking as usual, the racing was close, & there were a few twists & turns for various reasons. Have only seen it once, but thought Kurtz was unlucky to be excluded. Might change my mind when I watch replays on Sky tomorrow. -

Would think the money is good, & hope a fresh start enables him to get back to his best form, after tonight LOL. -
Name them then, because I was struggling to think of many due to Elite riders over 6 being banned, & our Sunday meetings ruling out riders who ride in Poland. Sheffield have not been able to replace Stead.
-
dazpanther, who would you have replaced Allen with out of interest ?
-
Good management by Glasgow. Panthers have been without Olly Allen for months & cant seem to find a solution, but Glasgow sort out a new rider in a week or so. Not knocking Panthers management by the way.

The Most Secret Speedway Meeting Ever
proud panther replied to Grand Central's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
You can guarantee if the track is ok, it will be mentioned tomorrow. Who is paying the riders if there's no fans allowed in ? -
It was Robert Lambert that had the row with his dad, & if you continue to try to tell me otherwise, then I am wasting my time. Also, if you couldn't see that the front wheel on Lewis Blackbirds bike had collapsed, then your eyes must be bad. Then again, you can't tell the difference between the 2 Lambert's, so you need to go to specsavers.

The touts are actually very close to one of the ticket offices, & shout nice & loud to let you know they have got plenty left. -
Cardiff British Final

Belle Vue sounds good for the British final in theory, but think we need to see what sort of track they produce first. -

We buy our tickets off the touts a couple of hours before the start & save about 30%. We stopped in Newport once, & the hotels were a bit cheaper. -
Ashtree 123, I will give you my opinion of your rant regarding Lewis, & will include a few facts. Regarding his crash at Peterborough, he lost 8 spokes out of his front wheel,so the bike was not easy to push back to the pits. Nobody liked your post or agreed with you.Lewis is regarded as 1 of the fairest riders by other riders. Young Robert & his dad had a major row a few Sundays ago, & the language was not good on either side. They are all facts. Don't think you have seen much speedway if you are surprised at riders falling out in the heat of the moment, because in my experience, it happens all the time. Greg Hancock can do it. If Lewis had rode at Newcastle, & had to pull out after a couple of rides, we would have been struggling to win the meeting, especially with Ulrich also carrying an injury.Better to ride at Wolverhampton, because if he had to pull out, he hasn't let Panthers down in my opinion.

Must be cheaper to keep Morley, so no great surprise when Havelock is involved. -

Heres one for SCB. How many assessed 7 pointers have reached their average in the last 5 years ? Would guess the figure would be very low.
