Apparently no live streaming from Glasgow this year (except when they're on British Speedway Network). -

Yes, usually a delay but should be available today sometime. Not that I'll be watching it! -

Is it not the case that the lowest average you can have is 3.00 - so Jason Edwards would be rounded up to that, which would take the total over 42?

The eyes of the world have been on Glasgow this week as the great and the good descended on the city. Here are some quotes: Joe Biden: " I'm really pleased to be here in Glasgow and pretty happy to take a 10 point lead down to Poole." Greta Thunberg: "Cookie was pure dead brilliant in heat 15, by the way." David Attenborough: "The Tigers (in their natural habitat) done good but it's only half time and it's a game of two halves, you know." Leonardo DiCaprio: "Great job guys, specially Ricky and Broc. I can't make it on Thursday and I hear there's no live stream. That's a bit pish. I thought Poole were a big team?"

I hope you're right and they do decide to go ahead with stream. The tie is now very finely balanced and I'm sure there would be hundreds of Glasgow and neutral supporters who would want to watch. Enjoyable match tonight and the racing pretty good for a cold November night. Got a sneaking suspicion that the Tigers might just hold on.

Stream purchased and looking forward to what should be a classic encounter between two evenly matched teams on a great racetrack. As a neutral, and with 2 ex-Monarchs on each side, it's difficult to know who to root for, but I've got to go for the Scottish side and hope Cookie weaves his magic round the Possil Park bowl. A 10 or 12 point victory for Tigers would set up a very interesting second leg.

Yes, that's why Edinburgh have the 25 mile limit. Poole do film their matches don't they? Not sure how easy it would be but why not let Edinburgh stream the match through the Edinburgh website which is already set up for streaming and split the revenue (and make hundreds of Monarchs fans happy to be able to watch their team win the KO Cup )

Glasgow /Edinburgh Play Off SF 21 & 22 October

Well done to the Tigers, thoroughly professional job - different mindset to last week. But a good solid all round performance from the Monarchs that gives me hope for tomorrow. Hope Edinburgh had a quiet word with Cam, while he was up, about next season. -

Very good all round team performance from Glasgow. The whole team looked like they could pass from the back and Cookie looked like he could have gone off 15m every race and still got a max. But I think the main reason the tie is now a virtual formality was Broc Nicol - after a first race last, and with Glasgow just 2 up after 5 heats, he was involved in 3 5-1's over the next 5 heats to completely knock the stuffing out of the Monarchs. No lack of effort from the Edinburgh riders but beaten by the better team on the night. Still think the Monarchs have a slight chance tonight but feel the Tigers won't let them get away from them and there'll only be 4 or 6 points in it at the end. If Cameron Heeps is in anything like his usual Armadale form then there's no chance of getting anywhere near the 22 points required. -
Excellent performance from the Monarchs tonight and I thought the racing was pretty good too, as well as the close score on aggregate adding to the excitement. I think there were quite a few passes after the second bend that were not down to mistakes (Worrall on Wells heat 4, Cook on Pickering heat 5, Masters on Brennan heat 10, Worrall and Masters on Wells heat 13). Very impressed by Tom Brennan on his first appearance at the track. I thought he and Cookie were going to rescue the Tigers in heat 15 but Sam and Richie were very determined.
