poole used the rules to there advantage , and played politics with speedway again ...... pretty sure if the facility only allowed a pl reserve dak would of rode the rules should be changed , for non speedway related injuries and for a speedway related injury from riding......

not as much a bearing than it might look, poole had lee smart as draft , he didnt last long , but poole still won league seems the teams that carnt get there draft riders going are the teams moaning about it, look at wolves freddie been off form all season are wolves gonna try and ban number ones.....

the fast track has to stay , it works in poland where pawlicki, predpelski,maksim drabik ride at reserve......its helped there progress ,so can only help ours the points limit is ok as it is teams can more or less stay the same or even strenthen a little , so the product isnt been made weaker this time limit foreigners to 4 each team all elite clubs to have a 2nd half , be it junior match , or old japs or watever , the public need to get more value for money all riders that touch the tapes go off 15 a reserve not allowed to replace them matces have to go to 13 heats to be declared , so many ten heat farces this year when should of been abandoned earlier

get used to the fact the top riders dont want or need to ride over here its only gonna get worse, the el should get into the habit of training/creating its own riders that eventually become top stars

hmmm. according to interviews with dak he still didnt know the injuries to his father but still rode in the final , as you say its the not knowing that caused this stress, so how was he ok to ride in the final that is of course he was telling the truth and really didnt know.. i think the rules need changing regarding injuries that are not speedway related teams will make up any excuse , because the scb cannot do a damn thing about it if the rider has a doctors note (which anyone can get if you pay a small fee)

How do you know that rod has been in hospital all this time / he could of course been there for a check up.........and dak went with him.....

'sudden' as in the day of the meeting or hours before a meeting is different , and a replacement is allowed of course if theres time to get one this wasnt the case here, dak had an 'off' meeting friday ( at the time i said to myself that poole would try to get a change for dak for the 2nd leg ) the 2nd leg was monday 3 nights later , the wheels were put in motion for daks replacement late friday early saturday. i didnt say poole 'broke ' the rules......the rules are at the moment a shambles and are quite open to many interpretations, which just happen to make speedway look more and more irrelevent to newcomers , until there is some form of independent panel governing rules and regs this will only continue leicester made a complaint early on in the season about a match at there home ground , lakeside changed there team lineup just before the meeting started , norrie allen complained to the scb for clarification and was told its up to chris van straaten to decide if lakeside's team was allowed .... its ridiculous that a fellow elite league manager can decide other elite league teams line ups......

its got nothing to do with him being a public figure or not , its rules and procedure, all other teams could just make up any old excuse of a riders family member taking a tumble however minor or major just to get a guest rider in to make them stronger it would be taking the pee out of all paying fans would it not...... there has to be some justification

whats to hide? we all know rod north's had some sort of accident , why hide what it was? unless there is something to hide i really carnt see why they carnt just come clean, he's not some superstar diva is he

from what is he on the long road to recovery from ....? would be nice to know ,,,,,,,instead of being treated like mushrooms what is there to hide

he is riding abroad , torun have already signed him , whether he gets to ride for them next yr remains to be seen....

its obvious the last rider will either be a draft rider or if they change the rules and go only one draft rider then another rider on a 4 or less poole want the rules changed to one draft and one other rider at reserve that way kyle newman could start in top 5 but move back down to reserve when the fake averaged other reserve rider improves to be in the main team

but the uncertainty that lakeside might not run is only going to make the decision to ride for cov a lot easier, riders like to get things sorted for the next season asap and not be left hanging around

its obvious.......its there for all to see ...... is it any wonder north and the poole promotion dont want to divulge any info regarding dak's fathers injury. its clear there is something to hide , a hand/nerve injury if it turns out to be that is no where near as serious as they were making out all you get from poole is cover story after cover story with speedway star quite happy to join in and carry on the charade ....... more spin than my washerdryer !

getting riders signed up on fake low averages is how ford does it miedzinski was signed on a 5 , millik was a 4 , both put over 2.5 points on there average swindon wanted miedzinski as he was there asset but ford didnt ask for permission to talk to him swindon complained but i think a back handed deal had already been done , millik as a 4 pointer was a joke , but it was another one of these foreigners than comes in on fake low averages next seasons example could be brady kurtz who will probably be about a 5 , reckon he could put 2 points on it .....
