  1. Next week is Stoke (KOC). KL the week after (NL)
  2. Should be a comfortable (but at times competitive) victory. I predict a cracking race between Ayres and Shanes.....
  3. hopefully we'll be in better shape to give them a real test. i have two litres of cider to carry over from the postponed meeting, so let the sun shine on the 28th!
  4. We are now in 4th place, and with Benji due back before we really need him, i'm very happy!
  5. Just in time for some must win points coming up at home. 1, Lambert 2, Baseby 3, Mason 4, Chessell 5, Morley 6, Harris 7, Ayres Not sure how/where we will fit Compton and Freemantle back in?!
  6. Morley guesting for KLYS against Poole.
  7. Get Baseby signed before tonight and we might pick up a point based on the improvements shown by Chessell and Ayres (Danny loves the whistles). #daretodream! still buzzing from yesterday - great stuff lads.
  8. I see RH have announced that Stefan Nielsen will replace Lambert.....
  9. Not the result Lakeside wanted but Morley did himself no harm in front of the Sky cameras. Well done Ben.
  10. Mason, Mason and more Mason - now that's how you Captain a team - he was the Daddy last night. It turns out that all Luke Chessell and Danny Ayres need is some confidence building under the wing of Mason. Hopefully Luke Harris can ride with him next week as he looks to be suffering at the moment. His place could be in jeopardy when Brandon is back fit. Worrall and Greenwood were magnificent and James Shanes looks like the real deal. Track record will get blown away next week by Boxall. BYW.
  11. We need Compton back like yesterday. Stoke have some real quality in arrears where we have close to nothing. I think we need some changes in the squad already. The track looked decent until heat 10.
  12. Make Morley Kent's number one. Impressive stuff so far for Lakeside also. Go Ben!
  13. Lambert did OK for RH last night with Boxall having an incredible night.
  14. You never know, Morley and Lambert might have other commitments the night of the NLRC.
  15. I know it's early days, but do you think Lambert (as Captain) will send Morley and Compton to the NLRC? Obviously depends on Compton doing what i expect and having a superb season.
  16. well done boys. nearly correct with my prediction. 38-51 1. Simon Lambert 3, 3, 2, 3, 3 14 2. Luke Chessell 1, 0, 1' 2+1 3. Ben Morley 1, 3, 3, 3, 2' 12+1 4. Benji Compton 3, 2', 2', 3 10+2 [PM] 5. David Mason 2, 1', 2, R 5+1 6. Luke Harris 3, 2, 0, 0, 0 5 7. Brandon Freemantle - 1, 0, 2, F/x 3
  17. The first of many away wins this season i reckon. I think this will be a real stuffing with at least two Kent riders unbeaten by a Devon rider.
  18. i hadn't even thought of using Mason at number 2 - this is a very good lineup in my opinion....but we won't get to see Mason and Compton continue their partnership i can feel the excitement building again - not long now. I would have gone with Mason - what a difference it made to the season when he was restored to the team. That said, if Lambert wanted it and the riders voted for him, then good luck to him. I hope Lambert insists on getting the riders out on parade before every meeting (no excuses).
  19. I know he is active on FB. just a suggestion that's all. and no - I don't use FB.
  20. jack Kingston maximum that day then.
  21. BC will be the main man around Central Park. Jack Kingston to continue his rise to stardom.
  22. at least I have the balls to predict. this topic was turning angry so just wanted to break it up a bit. is it tapes up yet?!!!!!
  23. So... Cradley look mighty strong with Starke, Perry and Worrall as their HL's. I will stick my neck out and say we can enjoy a fight for second spot with Mildenhall. When can we expect fixture lists to be available? I can then start planning my first ever Speedway tour.
