It was his first meeting back(on sky) after his ban, he was always going to get mentioned and rightly so. He has been missed in the EL, ability wise he's the best rider to ride over here and he's back incase anybody misseed that last night. Sadly some so called speedway fans would rather see him on the sidelines and not on track doing what he was born to do. I for one love that Ward has returned and its funny that its not for Poole but Swindon.

Close score kept this one interesting had moments of frustration when we were in 5-1 positions and threw them away. Peterborough is a quick track and unforgiving when mistakes are made. Im glad dimitri is ok after his fall imo was lucky it went his way he just managed to pull level before he came off. richard must be annoyed with himself for not riding inside coming out of bend 4 in heat 15. A point on the road is always welcome especially when it looked like we were for it in heat 14 but thanks to lady luck had a last heat decider to try and take three points. Enjoyed meeting but agree with comments that it could have served up better entertainment.

Bwitcher- I take it the gp riders aren't allowed to ride the track before the gp takes place. Is that a fim ruling? Looks like that wont work if it is the case. What about the pairs? Would save fans travelling about between somerset and cardiff.

If its run on the thursday night before the gp and fans are given the option as to whether or not the want to attend both when buying tickets. its a simple idea that could work if promotors and bsi came together.

Things do change iris, it would benefit bsi and bspa to work together on this. There would be no better practise on the track than a hard fought british final. The final doesn't have to be a few days before either a week to ten days would be better then it would possibly fall in with the regulations you mention. It all depends on the stadium availability there is hope that the two organisations can work together for once and make sure both showcase meetings are on and in best available facilities. Just noticed your edit thats a fair point and you could be right.

Might not be so spongy next year its a long shot I know but it would make sense.

Anyway moving forward scunny don't like us anymore shame cause I still like them. I hope in future we could help scunny out when the misfortune of a rider ending his season due to injury occurs. Im sure we'd be happy to help and that goes for any team out there. I dont grudge any team speedway has many problems and injuries to riders can be difficult at the best of times. A team shouldn't have to run with r/r for weeks or months if someone can ride in their place. From a fans point of view in glad glasgow are a 7 man team again.
