Could someone summarise the outputs of the meeting tonight for those of us unable to attend? Much appreciated -
That’s the spirit

I do love him but he’s iffy on the mic!
-
How is Sam so bad on tv after 20 years in the media?! Love him but he’s a calamity sometimes.
-
It can sometimes be a little too much but in some races I think it adds to the tension. Bit of mind games sometimes too - last to tapes etc.
-
Eh? Edinburgh are operating r/r because he’s injured…….

Fair point.

I think Lasse would be fine at reserve tbh. Chance to build some confidence

I get what you mean but that would deny us some extraordinary racing. -

Looks a great result given Cook was out for the majority of the meeting. Maybe gives some hope that you can compete when he's not firing on all cylinders - i previously doubted this was possible. -
I'd take Dillon Ruml in a Monarch's racesuit in a heartbeat.

Good win but can't help think that had Nicholls been there we likely wouldn't have come away with the points. A win is a win though. If we make the play-offs we won't be worrying the top teams however - too reliant on our top two. Paco or Kye need to come to the party more especially at home. Ht13 was an absolute joy. We can now safely talk about Josh Pickering in the same breath as Cook, Masters, Schott and Carr as the best home riders we've seen at Armadale. I remember watching him in his first press and practice and thinking he was going to kill himself - i needn't have worried. ps. never fail to be impressed by the quality of the streaming. Well done to all those involved in making it such a top notch production. -

I fear the weather might win -
Yep so would have to weigh it up
-
Would take Wright. Not so sure about Bickley though.

Not exclusively. Edinburgh schools are still in w/c 27th June. Finish lunchtime 1st July.

Even if you don’t think it needs to be neutral you’ll surely concede it should be accessible for as many fans of the participating clubs as possible? I was describing Poole’s location in my previous post but seen as you’ve brought it up I happen to think Poole is a tip. Getting the ferry in next month and the best part of it is the A31 north.
-
World Cups and test matches aren’t compatible to an event where fans would travel to support their (predominantly northern based) team either.
-
Where to even start with this. The PLRC (as it will always be known) should be at a neutral venue. Sheffield or Belle Vue are ideal candidates and geographically sensible. Poole is in the backside of nowhere.

Stripes (Glasgow) Vs Oxford champ 17th June

Hopefully he gets going again. If nothing else him and Masters battling it out home and away is usually entertaining. I do think Glasgow probably need Cook scoring to challenge for the title. -
Hard to disagree. One bike between them makes me think they’re not that bothered or in it for the long haul. They’re not exactly being led from the front by our no.1 though- missing the two mins in heat one is a nonsense then his bike being slow as a week in the jail from then on in. There was a gulf in class and professionalism last night.
