  1. 18 mate...His employer has made him finish off his aprenticeship and wont give him all the days off he needs to ride here, his education comes first and if he cant ride anymore at least he has his trade to fall back on.....
  2. maybe its the polish fixtures on the thursday, cardiff friday and saturday then poland sunday?
  3. Yes they did announce the raffle numbers and a bit harsh calling them names.... he stepped up to the plate as the normal starter was not available. the lad lives and breathes scunny speedway, if it wasnt for him then there probably wouldnt be any practice or amateur meetings each week,,well done mate you did very well for your first proper match
  4. I believe Kyle Howarth is the guest....team has to improve from monday , riders riding for their places according to scunny telegraph
  5. Not read every post but has Mr Barker been dropped?.. we had him last year as guest and he agreed to guest everytime so we were prepared to pay him
  6. Has been done in the past, im sure even down to £5 for having 2 meetings in the same week.. with the track keeping drying out.. couldnt the other water truck be used? the one that soaked the ttrack after the meeting, not the one that sprayed on the top
  7. To be fair that wasnt our new team, all being well our new team starts next week now
  8. Most of the kids climb up on the red barriers and cling to the wire mesh. a couple go into the seating area and the rest either ride bikes, play in the park or go on the mini track just a point on Josh.. i believe he is a confidence rider. if he is in the Leicester team as reserve he can pile the points up and that helps his Scunny form, but seeing he is in the main body of his team he is finding it a lot tougher to get a point so his confidence drops...
  9. Fantastic meeting, some brilliant racing from both set of riders.. i must admit i feared a repeat of the peterborough score early on sunday morning, but never expected a last heat decider.... i brought two newbies to the sport and they loved it, they were clapping and cheering our riders on, they loved the close racing and passes, A massive thank you to Stefan, take a bow son, and thank you Plymouth for letting him guest. That move by Josh from last to second was another Ewr classic. ...also i see the speedwaygb website has sheffield down as a 4pt away win. i thouhjt it was 3 as they won by 6?
  10. Read that Andreas is ill and not riding... bbc says no rain at all....xc weather has light rain from 1pm them overcast at 7ish... who to believe?
  11. Hope he gets a place somewhere soon, he really is a good lad, ,his away points may not be too good, but as pointed out , hes not been everywhere yet and i dont think he had Topinka over here this year, i believe he was due soon, i know other team mates could help him with set ups etc, but you need someone in your corner,
  12. Im quessing Perry moved up because Peterborough redeclared?they used his true average for team building so otherwise he would stop at 7?
  13. hopefully we can get some of the footy supporters in now the season is over, i think some cant afford both
  14. Not sure if you can replace Karger, being an assesed rider new to the league this year you have to stick with him, unless he quits or has a long term injury,
  15. think they have changed some friday meets to sundays
  16. so how can the 30th be a double header, you are at scunny 2pm, then back to peterbrough to ride against ippo twice?
  17. arent you riding at scunny on the 30th... how can a team be in 2 places at once.. unless you ride 3 times in one day
