  1. Im guessing most if not all these riders MISSED meetings. ie, decided to ride for another team abroad, went grasstracking instead, missed a flight home, where as josh decided to stop riding altogether,,, im also guessing 28 day bans are for the first type and 14 days for joshs case?
  2. The riders agreed to look at the track after some work had been done, surely they could or would of said dont bother rob..you cant blame him for the rain lasting longer than predicted, you could argue the fact if boro were 8 in front would they so keen on a rain off? but as it turned out both teams didnt fancy it.
  3. And im sure rob said he hopes little josh may change his mind too
  4. If scunny did want to ride and panthers didn,t. does it then go to the ref to decide?. not certain but if we thought it was ok couldnt we have sent a rider out to show it was?
  5. there was heavy rain on friday night and the track was flooded, rob did say that after the 8 hr amatuer meeting they were working on the track upto midnight, maybe why the track today was sludgy underneath? just one downpour too many?
  6. Didnt seem to be much whooping and cheering when he was announced, apparently a deal was nearly done for berge was was being to greedy
  7. The track at the end looked ok, if people were just turning up and saw it they wouldnt have had a clue it was drenched, as we went out the blade machine took off the top dressing and was sludge underneath.just a shame after all the hard work put in for a call off
  8. looks like a no go for fritz, his posts on facebook says scunny dont have a place for him,,,
  9. if i remember that team was built very late on,just before the start of the season, the pick of the riders had got rides elsewhere, so we picked riders from our amateur meets,, i am sure other promoters were complaining about the team as too weak
  10. he reckons he will be back on his bike on saturday for a practice
  11. has nico covatti got over his injury yet, hes good to watch around the ewr? good result at rough park, well done lads
  12. well done lads.... i dont think newcastle is one of his fav tracks so i didnt expect him to do well
  13. tungate rides for lodz hougaard rides for krakow bellego rides for krosno kurtz on his facebook page says he rides for plonia pila kennett sounds a good shout but doubt we could afford him with our crowds, but if the team starts winning the crowd will return helping to pay,and depends what his average would be as hes done 7 matches i suppose it depends on how often they ride in poland, kurtz is not in todays team so do they get told if not needed that week? Scott nicholls for rzesow but not in team team today
  14. Not 100% sure but i think you have to keep a no7 unless he is injured or packs in racing
  15. Stefan has signed for the rest of the season, not as temporary cover,Rob has said and written that he hasnt given up on Fritz so maybe another change is due?
  16. scunny twitter page says same, so why no Riss? and Josh doubtful with whiplash
  17. STING! RAFFLE TO RETURN – BIGGER, BRIGHTER AND MORE BEAUTIFUL! THE STING! Riders Fund 50/50 is set to return this Sunday… but with a difference. Instead of using the former programme booth, which is soon to be a food outlet, the sellers will come around the trackside, accompanied by the riders’ glamorous partners, family and friends. We believe the new approach will swell the coffers of the fund, and prize limit, as well as gaining support. It should also bring the supporters and riders closer together. Winning numbers will be announced on the centre green, with results also announced on the website, official Twitter feed and on a new STING! Facebook page. The winner will pick up their winnings after Heat 14, and will pick and present a trophy to the rider of the night. STING! Fund Chairman Paul Duff also has this message: “We are also pleased to announce that we have booked the new bar / entertainment facility for the annual end-of-season presentation night on Saturday, October 21 and will issue full details later in the season.”
