  1. There will be lots of team changes next year, be it average reduction, , teams not running , doubling up rules etc, so who would be available or who would we like to see? Who is going to make way?, i was certain with toftys interview last meeting it was him, now reading his speedway star article i am more confident of him staying, also reading other threads that his 7 average is going to hamper him finding a place. What i would like to see is a bit of "team spirit" from the riders, ie, when we get enough points to win the meeting say ht 13 for example, when the 2 riders that got the points get to the pit gate, have the remaining riders there to congratulate them. show the fans some spirit, also it used to be good when they walked through the crowd after the victory parade, lets the fans say well done... away teams that came and won had some interaction with the fans Do riders have to be away just after heat 15? The times ive seen Josh's van leaving if hes not picked for heat 15,Have a post meeting interview with the winning captain and/or rider of the night, have a fan pick the rider of the night, maybe from the raffle tickets, 1st and 2nd get money so do a 3rd draw for a view on the centre in heat 15 then pick the rider? Might increase raffle sales and maybe give the rider an exta tenner or so fot the back pocket
  2. Ben Barker. 7.91 Carl Wilko 6.12 Josh Auty 7.01 Lewi Kerr 6.16 Ryan Douglas 7.18 Fritz Wallner 5.00 Jack Smith.....3.00 42.38? Limit to stay the same
  3. I can see Josh Bates and Jack Smith in the side with Tofty moving on but Barker would be my choice(wonder if Rob will go for Bellego this time)? Ryan Wilko Josh B Lewis Josh A Fritz Smith.......probably means Ryan and Josh swopping No1 during the season, Ben Wilko Josh A Lewi Ryan Fritz Smith.....probably keeps Ben at No1 and would mean if Ryan and Josh want the No1 then they have to "ride" to take it, which would benefit the team and Ben is a seasoned No 1
  4. Mr Schein definately for me, lets go with a "proper" number 1, see if the season goes differently, obviously i dont want a rider who is going to bankrupt the club with a £250 a point wage demand, but id like us to try a change, would anyone fancy Jason Garrity?
  5. Mr Godfrey at Scunny said that some changes will be made for next year meaning more meetings....will that be one league or a split and playoffs between the two groups?
  6. Steve Worrall/Rory Schlein Tofty Lewi Ryan Josh A Fritz the Blitz Josh B/Jack Smith
  7. maybe if he still rode for ipswich, which as scooby said was a blank weekend, but why should scunny suffer beause ipswich ditched him and then ended up riding on the day?
  8. good shout there scooby... weddings are normally planned months prior to them happening..... if all went to plan it would of been an empty weekend
  9. hi. dont take this as gospel but, as most of the people will probably start heading to the exit just before heat 15 i dont reckon anyone will be on the turnstiles. its not really classed as 2 seperate meetings, just a couple of quid on top of the league match.it will start around 5pm and depending on when they come may get a couple of league match in.... i suppose they could always give a small amount to the bend fund?
  10. Heat 14 scunny v Peterborough last year?-,seems a carbon copy,im sure there was no passing either
  11. Reading the match report, Rob said the guest must of been someone who had "come through the NL leaque" not someone suddenly allowed to ride in it... i said in a previous post i thought Bewley should have rode for Belle Vue as this was a rearanged fixture, just seems to me that Edinboro picked the wrong guest.
  12. i must say that heat 7 was epic... i dont think anyone will see a race that good without any passing in it ever... hope it gets on youtube
  13. I was going to suggest Kai Heffenbroc(?) from Kings Lynn but i think they have a couple of double uppers
  14. "Thats the way, ah ah i like it".... brilliant , well done Scunny
