I can't add anything to Ghostwalkers answer.

I doubt the Aussie border/immigration people have paid any attention to a few speedway riders in the UK. In fact I'd imagine some jobs-worth immigration officer in Aus being quite pleased/admiring that we're taking a tougher stance!

The PL shouldn't need a change tot he format as the draft riders should be capable of more against PL riders. As it stands, I'd expect the EL to return to the old format next season as the draft riders are now EL ready, they've had two years of having their hands held, now they have to go for it. People are saying about making the top draft riders move into the 1-5, I'd just prefer a return to the old format with a points limit for the 1-7 and a rule that each club has to have at least 2 ex-draft riders (plus I'd add Lambert and Worrall to the list, possibly even Barker)

Agree with that. Even the bit about the rules. Some people cry "the rule are complicated" and "rewrite the rulebook". It won't make any more people attend - the most complicated rulebook in sport is F1 and look how many people watch that! Speedway fails because promoters thing 15 races spread over 2.5 hours with some old guy chatting to himself between the songs on "80s hits" and "now 23" is entertainment.

And KK was riding badly abroad when he was sacked in this country. It's not like he ride well in one country but not another, which is the point. I think we all know that KK can be crap, in fact beyond crap!
-
If KK has one of his good years he'll get that figure. One of his bad years and he could drop down to the low 6s and even into the 5s
-
If Kozza wants a work permit he'll have a top 4 finish. As will any other rider wanting one. They'll ensure that all riders get at least one easy state final to get a permit. The NT, WA and Tasmanian state finals are hardly the most talent filled finals most seasons.

Another thing to add, I have checked back on all his tapes offences of the last 2 seasons and apart from the farcical one from 15 metres on Sky, James has only ever touched the tapes when off gate 2 or 3. Which suggests he sees some moment from 1 or 4 and goes. When he's off 1 or 4 and only has the tapes to watch, he just makes good starts. If he was anticipating he'd have far more than 5 tape exclusions in 2 seasons, he'd be touching them once a meeting surely, as nobody can get that lucky? He gets called back at least once a meeting now, how can he get lucky enough to one in every 4ish races to drop the clutch as the ref is pressing the button but only once every 20 meetings drop the clutch half a second or more before the referee presses the button? Because it's not like he rolls, he is either a witch who can anticipate with paranormal levels of accuracy or he just very good! If he was rolling or tape touching every meeting I'd say he was trying to cheat. As it is, I don't think he is. What amazes me is that a referee can be deemed eagle eyed enough to know Sarjeant jumped but Sarjeant can't be eagle eyed enough to just make good starts. All those referees calling him back are wasted in the referees box, they should all be out on track as they'd all lead every race into the 1st bend! edit> but he does need to get over this issue of jumping when he's off 2 or 3. Regardless of why it is. I wonder if James or anyone close to him is even aware it's a big issue off 2 and 3? And as such are trying to work out why.

Thats a myth. If KK is crap in the UK he's crap everywhere. He just goes through good and bad spells like no other. Take 12-18 months ago, one of, if not the best rider in the World, take today, riding like a big girl, everywhere! BV fans will confirm he can be great. Coventry fans have seen both too, as have Lakeside fans.

Sudden Sam Unveiling New Jawa Engine..
SCB replied to BWitcher's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Personally would love to see that but why do you need new engines to do that? Why couldn't they do that with the old style engines? As it is, I don't see what engine tuners add to the sport. They just take money. I get why riders use them but ban then, eradicate them in some other way and I don't see how the sport will be any worse for it. But will be richer! -
I claimed he's better, he is better. Your point that Thomsen can score 3 at Edinburgh is proof of that - Kurtz can only score 2!

Another dig at the EL by the PL. Shane the stats don't back up view. The rider in yellow and blue win more races in the EL than in the PL which suggests the PL is more predictable! The top and bottom of the EL don't race against each other. It's mainly heatleaders vs heatleaders, reserves vs reserves and the second strings have a few rides with the heatleasers and the reserves.

Warsaw Gp Saturday 18th April

Only speedway has tapes. Watch superbikes, Moto GP, touring cars, F1 and stock cars, thy all use lights and flags! Speedway should scrap tapes anyway. -
Sudden Sam Unveiling New Jawa Engine..

Surely once someone buys one of these they'll take it apart and add the super parts to it. Why is it any different to now? -
I'm no bragging, I'm point out Kurtz scored less than Thomsen last week. I am right. I have every right to laugh at you for being wrong. The last bit is fine. Not going to argue with an opinion based on what you have seen. But to come on here laughing because Thomsen scored 3 when Kurtz only scored 2 makes you look a little silly.

Monarchs Vs Panthers - 9/10/15 Sf 2nd Leg
SCB replied to LagutaRacingFan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Just being selfish as I have the week after off work so would only need to book the Friday off and could stay up for a few days If it's next weekend I'd have to book the Friday and the Monday off. -
Amazing. Truly amazing. So Kurtz is the better rider. You have come on here bragging because Thomsen scored 3 at Edinburgh but are going to ignore Kurtzs 2 at Edinburgh and 4 tonight at home?!

SCB replied to LagutaRacingFan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Now Edinburgh are in the final, any ideas of a date? I'm half tempted to get a plane up, especially if its the weekend of 23/25th and it's against Glasgow! -
Erm, the argument is he is better that Kurtz. Kurtz scored 2 there last week. So his 3 is better than Kurtz. Oh dear! Maybe you need to do you homework first before you comment as you suggested others do last week?! When I made the claim he had not had a bad score is was 100% correct. He has now had a bad score. Bit like Kurtz has had two in a week. You know, Kurtz, the "better rider"!

Where as I wouldn't be shocked to see none of them at Poole next year - not that I have heard anything.
-
Edinburgh vs Somerset 2/10/2015 - Brady Kurtz 011 Somerset vs Glasgow 09/10/2015 - Brady Kurtz 2110 Maybe Brady Kurtz is not as good as some think?!

There was an interview on the Speedway GP website with Vaculik about being back in the GP. 2+2=?

Play Offs Should They Be Scrapped.?

Shocking. And they wonder why the sport is dying on his backside, do that with sponsors all the time and eventually you're not going to have any.
