  1. Are you after the "an infinite number of monkeys...." award for guesses? #2 (making Zengotta 2nd and 3rd!) #4 no no no no #7 #7
  2. This time it's EL pairings who have been 5-1'd 1 Wells AND Skornicki 17 (17 times) - Anzum 2 Zengotta AND Summers(15 times) - Lucifer Sam 3 Zengotta AND Robson (11 times) - Lucifer Sam 4= Lahti AND Gustafsson (10 times) - dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 4= Bridger AND Swiderski(10 times) - Lucifer Sam 4= Zagar AND Wolbert (10 times) - PTW 7 Korneliussen AND Worrall (9 times)- Lucifer Sam 8= Nicholls AND KK 8 (8 times) - Lucifer Sam 8= XXX AND XXX (8 times) 9= Auty AND Covatti (7 times) - dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 9= Barker AND King(7 times) - Lucifer Sam 9= Pedersen AND Lahti (7 times) - Lucifer Sam 9= Bjerre AND Fisher (7 times) - Lucifer Sam 9= XXX AND XXX (7 times)
  3. "Our GOOD FRIENDS"? Have you tried getting a visa to work in Australia? Yet we let any Aussie speedway rider in. As a few said at the time, lets see what they achieve, nothing so far.
  4. Except it was Robbie Kessler and Simon Stead doing the riding. On different bikes, with different kevlars. A poor effort by the BBC.
  5. TBf Mark had the benefit of only ever needing to finish 2nd.
  6. Or start with, "I've been a fan for 50 years..." as if having been a fan longer makes your opinion better. My biggest issue with the Star isnt that it doesnt go out digging for dirt but the fact it ignores what dirt is in the public domain. Did it once mention Darcy was up in court for rape? As mentioned did it say anything about the farce at BV last year? Did it ever tell us exactly why Coventry and Peterborough were at logger heads with the BSPA? Surely an interview with Sandhu now he doesnt own the club would be brilliant, he has nothing to fear so can say it as it is.
  7. im with Len on this on tbf. And fair play to him for actually giving some answers and some insight, its all us fans want most of the time, not heavy minute detail but something like this.
  8. He did. I'll leave it as it is so he doesnt look too much like a geek Good idea. The next few days I'll post the most times 5-1'd/5-0'd Correct
  9. Correct Damn, crossed the wrong rider off my list! See above for the fix. Just the redcar pair left.
  10. No to all guesses. Its another Somerset pair (so they have 3!) and a Redcar pair.
  11. OMG, they said speedway on tele? imagine Eurosport mentioned speedway, I'd explode with excitement.
  12. Steve is without a doubt a hugely talented rider, he's averaged 8 in the PL in the past so of course he can do it. If he settles down and gets on with the job at hand he can get 8 again. His issue is he tends to go AWOL (litterally!) and bad stuff happens. You're right, he could be one of the leagues top men, throw in that Kennett will be and Garrity should be and the Rockets could have a formidable team. TBF the Aussies do tend to be a little less PC than us.
  13. You assume he's never done anything to work on it before, maybe he's tried in the past? TBf his gating is better these days that it was 10 years ago by a long way, he's just too prone to throw in a rubbish one that the top guys don't do (other than Ward!)
  14. Pretty much a like-for-like surely? Im not getting the doom and gloom. I still think this Rye House team is pretty handy. I'm sure Shadders will be pleased to know that at th emoment I've got Rye Hosue and Berwick down as my teams to watch out for (along with Scunthorpe).
  15. Twitter, thats a bit modern for Len Silver!
  16. No, legal tender is what the courts have the accept. Nothing else. Many shops refuse to accept £50 notes but they are perfectly valid, legal tender.
  17. no and no #1 #2 (making the top 2 pairs Somerset riders - very impressive) no #1 but beat to it no no no no and no no #2 but beat to it no no no no EL snob
  18. Isnt it weird, speedway riders are self employed, so surely Jason doesnt need to be sponsors by an employer? Or they're not actually self employed?
  19. All that means if I go into a shop and get the shop assistant to agree, I can pay in magic beans. Any shop can refuse your terms of payment or equally agree terms of payment with you. The only issue comes with credit.
  20. His PL average is over 4 so can't double up, but if you sign for a PL club during the season you can continue to double up if your average is below 5
  21. Stefan Nielsen has signed for Coventry in the NL so can't ride PL. Unless he's clever and signs after the season has started
