With the date now confirmed for P&P on the 25th March and the weather picking up you just know the start of the season is just around the corner, Nick Morris winning the Ben Fund is a good start and hopefully a good omen for this season, Seems ages since last season ended ( 5 months) and who could have predicted what was in store for 2015, I see we are 3/1 favourites to win the league, I hope there right lol

All teams getting three points for a home win, this should help them compete with teams that have more home track advantage than others, Plus for all riders to stay safe , Oh and Glasgow to replace Edinburgh as league champions,

I like his signing lol, ps still very confident Kozza will be a Tiger in 2015, can't wait to see him in action at P&P on the 25th March

Both Scottish teams really putting the effort in this winter, 3 to 4 thousand? I believe the target is 2 thousand for opening day, let's hope the weather plays ball for both Spring trophy meetings.

I think both these riders will be ok, after missing last season I believe they are now classed as having a cooling off period which will help them return in 2015, if there is a problem with Kozza from what I've heard the rider waiting in the wings will put fear into other PL teams as a 2nd string, no messing about up the Glasgow way this year, Tho Kozza will be given every chance !!!

You should have came into the stadium, I'm sure Michael(one of the new owners) would have explained all the future plans, he doesn't bite lol

Would think these new sponsors will no doubt be customers of Allied Vehicles which should help balance the books for 2015, I think the seven riders that race for Glasgow this year could be arriving at just the right time , forgetting the so called mega deals they have received from the new owners they could land extra sponsorship with all these new company's coming on board.

Why would Glasgow not have a vote? Alan Dick has been a promoter there for 15 years, plus the new owners are not promoters!

This is one area where we shall see a marked improvement in, the new owners won't rest till they get the crowd levels upto 4 figures week in week out, I hope the new owners walk into a packed function suite when they meet the supporters on the 28th Feb.

Great to hear Glasgow have a stand at the Hydro tonight for a very big motorbike event, there will be a speedway bike, banners and a couple of attractive ladies handing out flyers and spreading the word, Roll on March 29th.

Maybe Glasgow and a few other clubs have asked for permission to speak with PIjper but have been refused by his parent club as they might need him if either of there Aussies have visa problems, just a thought, does seem strange that not one of the northern clubs have signed him!!!

I think B Kurtz will be pushing 9 this season, Other who will improve should be Palovaara, Wolbert, Proctor and I think R Lawson could also be pushing 9 as he will be very good round Ashfield, dark horse Robert Lambert.

Hi just new too the forum, my boss has just bought over the speedway and went a couple of times last season. Looking forward to opening day on the 29th March V Edinburgh , I've seen some of the work that's going on at the stadium and I'm sure the whole show will live upto Allied/Glasgow speedway expectations.
