  1. All four teams have a chance of making the final, Edinburgh will be a tough nut to crack in any competition over two legs, I'm sure an all Scottish final is what both sets of Edinburgh/Glas will want and could maybe just get it!
  2. BBC one tends to get it right more often than not, I expect this to be on and Glasgow to win by 10 or 12.
  3. Poor show if all that's been said is true, Bjerre does get up people's noses at times but doesn't everybody, Be interesting to see if Edinburgh discipline the rider as I'm sure all eyes will be watching, Most clubs have had riders who take the law into there own hands at times so glass houses and stones comes to mind, ps hope Bjerre is ok.
  4. Aye he was superb on his last visit lol Ritchie Worrall guests for Newcastle.
  5. Sorry bout that, just commented on the racing, lol . Atmosphere superb with a packed stadium,
  6. We'll I watched Kozza Smith and Birks exchange the lead in heat one a couple of times, heat 4 Sarjeant passes SIssis, Grajczonek goes round Summers bend 2 lap 1 in heat 5, In heat 8 Kozza goes round SIssis on the third and fourth bends, Josh really showed how to race the track in heat 11, Or maybe those passes don't count lol, all in all a good advert for PL , I think some posters just like to put a damper on things or maybe they didn't see those races, Also pleased for Berge who people thought would struggle at 4 v Garrity, didn't he also break the track record : )
  7. The home team must give there 1 to 7 to the away team first so who's to say if Dimitri was at three Sheffield wouldn't have just put Garrity to three, Also remember heat 12 is the last time you can use a tac and if and it's a big if I think Summers protects us more if the away team are 12 down. Ps what a lovely morning up here : )
  8. Glasgow, 1 Morris, 2 Smith, 3 Summers, 4 Berge, 5 Lawson, 6 Konopka, 7 Sarjeant, Sheffield, 1 Grajczonek, 2 Proctor, 3 Birks, 4 Garrity, 5 Compton, 6 Sissis, 7 Bates,
  9. Good choice of guest, Many people including myself thought it would be Masters or Cook, all three top riders I suppose.
  10. Be good to see the team back in action after last Sundays rain off, Nick Morris moves to number one for this meeting with Richard Lawson going to three or five, For Plymouth Kyle Newman starts at number one with the Fish at 5, prediction Glasgow 54 Plymouth 38.
  11. He's the one who got the 5 1 with Morris over Wolbert last Sunday on his way to paid 9 from 4.
  12. Still enjoying the fact that Glasgow won by one point over the home & away clashes V the Monarchs this week lol. Oh and that's without James Sarjeant
  13. Morris was always going to get a little stick when he races against Edinburgh, the fact that he is now racing back with Glasgow has got there backs up, if he was racing for a team down south I don't think it would be quite so bad, Some of the name calling was out of order but passions run high in these meetings and the Monarchs ain't used to losing to Glasgow home or away, Friday should be a cracker!
  14. I think this could be a last heat decider tonight, again I believe the big heats, 13 & 15 could be the deciding factor, prediction Workington 44 Glasgow 46. Well that's what I hope lol
  15. Good win for Glasgow, this section is bubbling up nicely , Can't believe how quickly the track dried out today, you should have seen it at 1030am ! . Berge looking back on it and Sarjeant beginning to get to grips with his new home, special mention to Aaron Summers who is proving a few of the doubters wrong when the team was getting put together in the winter, averaging paid 9 from our first 5 meetings, Nice.
  16. Workington looked very poor at Armadale last night, though the Edinburgh track can do that to the best of riders in the PL, They will be much more competitive on Sunday that's for sure, Glasgow should win but it could take the big heats to get them over the line, 50 40 to the Tigers.
  17. Rider costs have shot up in the last few years which is why they need more points money etc, plus with crowds going down year on year the loyal fan has had to cover that by an extra pound almost every season, though at Glasgow it stayed £16 for 3 or 4 years on the trot, Again I don't know the answer but I know up north we need more kids as they are the future of any sport.
  18. Correct, Glasgow informed Edinburgh of this in February and asked them to consider bringing the fixture forward a week, after discussions the answer was no, Not having a go at Edinburgh as it's there right to decide which night they open.
  19. So it was the Glasgow management.who said the meeting must go ahead, Here was me thinking the referee makes the final decision if a match goes ahead???
  20. Some riders just get on with it some don't, Hard to judge anybody yesterday , let's wait till the weather is fine and the track is not too wet before we see how good both teams are, That wasn't proper speedway racing yesterday but all riders gave it a go, so we'll done to them.
  21. C'mon Paulco, Give us your pre meeting countdown!!!
  22. Still the man to beat in the PL this season, makes it look so easy, Should find it tougher at Glasgow this season ( I Hope ) lol
  23. I'm sure we heard that last year, Always had a new engine ordered, Will no doubt add a point or so onto his average regardless.
  24. G Drury must have seen this coming, My thanks to Phil Morris for putting the team together as I have lost touch with the NL, Looks like Morris might have as we'll, With all the hard work that's been done to get the Brummies back on track they maybe have to make a change rather quick as the whole set up has PL at least about it and not a struggling NL side, Early days I know but..........
