Kauko returns next weekend I believe, will practise for a couple of days back home before heading to Scotland where he will practice at Glasgow too.

So some people want Glasgow to go to Plymouth this Friday, Palovaara has to practise on Fri for world u21 on the Sat and Sarjeant is racing for Coventry in the play offs, Plymouth would be without there capt Newman too, why race all season to reach play offs and race with 2 guests and RR, c'mon get real, what's the rush this season compared to any other year?

Summers on a TR in heat 5 would have made it 18 to 15, I know hindsight is great but it would have been game on from heat 6 onwards, sometimes you have to show a bit of faith in your riders, even the 2nd strings. Belle Vue in the driving seat but a couple of 5 1s early next Monday and you never know.

What I would like to see is the Elite clubs show the door to there GP riders as they are the ones that are taking money the clubs can't afford, do you really think the likes of Zagar, Jonsson, etc don't see what little fans there are on the terraces, they don't care as long as there getting paid, time to start again, 8 EL clubs and 13 PL clubs need to join together before it's too late, 42.5 limit on PL averages and build it up from there, if Berwick, Scunthorpe, Redcar etc can't afford it join the Birmingham, Cradley, Stoke ,Eastbourne etc in a stronger NL, people might say from the EL , don't want to watch that, well it's better than the meetings you have ATM, full of guests and RR at almost every meeting, that why people ain't going, Let's see the Somerset, Edinburgh , Glasgow , Sheffield race the Poole, Swindon , Kings Lynn etc, at least you know what your getting every week, Remember any speedway is better than no speedway and that's the way we are heading, The EL is dead and the PL with doubling up/down is heading the same way, now is the time for change, we can't afford another season like this with 7 of the 14 riders at meetings guests or RR

Big meeting this Sunday as Somerset finish off there northern tour against Glasgow, think it will be close but believe Glasgow will win by 8/10, looking forward to seeing Brady Kurtz against theTigers heat leaders .

Big loss for Edinburgh tonight but wouldn't surprise me if they take something at Rye House and then win at Peterborough on Sunday, some teams struggle without there own riders, others don't, 4 way battle for the top 2 positions I think, Glasgow and ? Lol

The meeting V Edinburgh at the Oaktree arena on Sky is going to be a cracker, Somerset lose and they can forget finishing top of the league, Let's hope Masters is back and both are at full strength .

At the start of the season you asked why did we sign Summers, can't ride Ashfield, PIjper would do better etc, notice you've gone quiet on that one, we now have a young rider in Sarjeant who you constantly talk down who has put almost three points on to his average, and now Niemenen hasn't rode over here for years, according to you when in fact he raced for Leicester in 2013, Is it just me or do you pour cold water on everything the new owners are doing at Glasgow ???

What happens to the Scottish clubs if we introduce NL riders in the PL, history has shown many will not travel, yes one or two will, but they will be left with the poorer ones, I agree we need to look at something to bring the youngsters through but surely if there not good enough you don't just bring the level down till they are,

Have to agree, wasn't the best meeting of the season, Berwick were pretty awful tbh and the Glasgow heat leaders had a very easy afternoon winning from the gate almost every time.

Great result from a patched up Glasgow side, special mention to Richard Lawson and Aaron Summers who scored 31 points between them, All the guests done there job too, Summers first two bends in heat 15 were superb, and to think there was one or two Glasgow fans at the start of the season who said he couldn't ride Ashfield lol

Sarjeant back for Tuesday, so RR for Howe gives Lawson, Sarjeant and the reserves extra rides,

Glasgow will need at least 12 to have any chance of meeting Ipswich in the final lol

Tough one tonight for the Tigers, A point would be a decent return considering our 1 to 7, but it's speedway and you just never know.

Glasgow will need to be up for it if they are to get anything out of this meeting, A point wouldn't be a bad return, Smith and Berge the key men.
