Polish meeting Grudziadz v Gorzow on "Freesports" tonight at 6.15pm. For those who want some free speedway and do not pay for Premier Sport. The other meeting today is on Premier 2 at 3.30pm.

You are correct it was not. However when I negotiated a new deal a few months ago it came as part of the Sports package. Was also going to drop my direct deal with BT sports (which I did). Then Sky offered me BT Sport via themselves for half price so stayed with BT via Sky. Gets me extra Football and I believe they are still doing the Speedway GP's this year. The only one I do not subscribe to is Premier Sport for Polish Speedway as they do not seem to be doing as much as they promised (plus last week they put the Polish Speedway on their Free Sport Channel). Believe they are due to start Swedish Speedway next week so we will have to see what happens there.

No he will not for the same reason we did not bring back Erik Riss. His average is almost the same as Riss and we did not bring him back because his average is to high to fit into the team. Management have said they will not release (sack) any riders to fit in the last rider. Newcastle say that they have released Vissing because of the problems he will have with Covid travel restrictions flying in and out of Europe. Think there may be many clubs in the same position before the start of the season with the Covid rates in Europe at the moment.

SGB Championship 2021 Confirmed Signings
slyfox replied to TotallyHonestJohn's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
What average is Jason Crump joining Plymouth on? -
Wish there was a British youngster that fit the bill. Its our 3rd heat leader that we are looking for at 6.6. Got 2 good British youngsters in the team with Anders Rowe & Jordan Jenkins.

Report in The Teesside Gazette today "Bears have tried to sign Lewis Bridger" but he was not keen on the travel from his Sussex base. They also say that have tried to sign two foreign riders without success and are now waiting to see what comes up between now and May to fill the 6.6 points available for the last rider. That will be more difficult with the Plymouth news. Dont get me wrong that's good news its the shortage of available riders that's the problem.

Think he may also be a rising star as on the list I have seen he is classed as a 4*
-
Looks like a good championship level team......
-
Thanks found it.
-
Cannot fine it on that link???
-
You are correct my error!!!
-
Need someone who is going forwards not backwards.....
-
Anders Rowe confirmed. Excellent prospect. Think he will be on 4.47 (after5% UK reduction). That was what he was listed for at Somerset last year. That would leave I think 6.6 for the last signing. Who fits that???????
-
It may be on the Birmingham tread on here but its not on their website. Its only speculation as it was with him possibly coming to Redcar. He will end up somewhere but who knows?
-
May well be they have plenty of points to play with and 2 team spots to fill I think. Think that BDW would have been a better option if we were going down that route anyway. However as I said earlier does not look like the option with letting Joe go.
-
BWD 8.75 or Rory 8.69 would just fit but would leave us with just over 2 for the 2nd reserve, it would have made sense to keep Joe Lawler if that was going to happen. So I cannot see them as options with the promotion.

Thanks for the link Steve missed it earlier when it was on live.
-
It is planned but just like The Silver Helmet no date yet.

Big week for Redcar. The rest of the 5 remaining team to be announced and are to be introduced "Live" at the clubs Xmas party on Saturday night. All to be in attendance. Good to hear Charles Wright is back from OZ.......... Who else????
-
Would not think that Kent in the CL will be allowed on any Monday. Mondays are exclusively PL. May be allowed to ride their lower league team on Mondays if they run one.
-
Redcar have announced Fridays.

Totally disagree Elliot had a good season in the NL for a 15 year old. Ended up with a decent average for his first season. Had some excellent meetings and would have done better towards the end of the season if it was not for injury. May be a risk as a 2 point reserve in CL but established 2 pointers are not going to improve. Elliot will get better and certainly knows The Media Prima Arena. If we have to have a 2 pointer he may be worth a try. If not see how he goes in NL then bring him in later if we make changes and he is showing even more improvements. Think he is nailed on for a N L place.

As you say the reason many of the promoters don't like the Fours qualifiers over 4 tracks is that as it has changed in recent seasons that you pay for your riders points home and away (not like it used to be when the home promoter paid all points). Therefore if you have a successful fours competition in this format you get income from one leg then have to pay your riders for 3 away meetings.
-
Think you need at least 1 good reserve or you are very exposed.
-
Don't understand your answers. If there were a dogs meeting on how could they run Speedway as well. Not sure Monday has been your off night this season same way Redcar could not use Thursday as they are both P L nights. Plus, both teams would have to agree a new date & if one of the Bears riders was not available i.e. there guest I'm sure they would not agree it.
