Predict The Final 2016 Pl Table!?

I think tis could be the season for the teams with a team in depth, a solid 1 to 6 and a strong No7. It's why i see Berwick mid table on paper, but on track may surprise a few, there are a few other teams the same. The teams with a strong top 4 and a weak bottom end of 3 riders may under perform. I suppose we will all find out from March onwards. -

I have never had a problem with Broughs track, it is prepared for home advantage, that is a good thing. It is up to visiting teams like my own to adapt to that track, it is something I wish they would learn up here in Berwick. When Waity had Berwick the track had a fear factor for visiting teams.

Not sure it makes a lot of difference in what it is called, either a Consortium or a Sponsor, they both achieve the same thing in this case, it is an influx of capital into the club. However if the Consortium were now part owners of the club (Directors), then the case for a Sponsor is important
-
Isn't that what the consortium really was, a Consortium of sponsors as opposed to buying shares in the club ??
-
Is that the one you've had in your pocket for ten years,

Don't know why folk are fretting about what we don't have. Berwick has a well balanced 1 to 7 , a team in depth, on paper a team that will be mid table, but may surprise everyone if it clicks

My very first enduro machine was a CCM (Cheeney Competition Motorcycles), Duralumin frame and a 500 BSA single engine, loved it to bits but useless in competition. Switched to Team Yamaha for 10 yrs first machine was an I.T. 250 great machine in it's day. Oh! Happy Days

CZ did a full range of motorbikes, had an oil chamber in exhaust system, it was made in Czech, there was also MZ, think it was the same machine built under licence elsewhere.

Only at Berwick, the rest of the speedway community knew what was happening, almost common knowledge when he signed for Berwick.

I did not say 'YOU' said it was cheaper, 'I SAID', it was not cheaper but was the same price in what ever permatation is put on it. However by putting a 'Spin' on it by saying speedway at Berwick for less than £25 a month, implies that it is. But I suppose I will have to bow to the UKs No1 interlect, and head spin merchant for the region, that is the great 'LAST WORD EDDIE'
-
I had said, an easy payment plan was a good idea for those who's finances are stretched, and is welcome. It does not however make it cheaper, it is still £200 for 15 meetings. Much better to describe something accurately, and not create a spin on it. It reminded me of the caravan sales pitch or a time share pitch. ' For just 120 payments you can own this caravan'. You would be paying for it for 10 YEARS Oh, and yes, it is good to offer a good deal for the young fans, they are getting a scarce resource in speedway nowadays.
-
Wow, mmm fastanic in it, lol lol Been getting lessons
-
If you pay over a 12 month period, you get speedway for less than £17 (£16.66) per month. At the end of the day you still pay the same amount £200. As you say 'Not rocket science'.
-
Think you described that incorrectly. It does not work out as £25 per month, it as an easy payment scheme of £25 for 8 months, which is to be commended in letting fans spread the load. The cost of attending speedway depends on how many meetings you attend, the saving is £1.67 per meeting if you buy as season ticket, irrespective of how you pay for it, based on 15 meetings. A good saving if you are on a tight budget and attend all 15 meetings, miss 2 meetings you will be out of pocket.
