  1. If you are travelling down, weathers not bad , cloudy but cold, so wrap up warm. Forcast for today is much better chance of rain 21.00 hrs. See you all tonight have a really nice journey and stay safe.
  2. No mate. Forecast for Sat 23/04/16 Nice morning, showers between 11.00 & 14.00 Very cloudy until 15.00 Light cloud until 24.00 Use Met Office, Berwick upon Tweed and postcode TD15 2EF, gives a very accurate forecast. It was spot on last Saturday, giving very heavy but short duration between 17.00 & 19.00. 17.00 very heavy shower with hail, 17.45 very heavy shower then 18.30 a very heavy shower. Spot on forecasr..
  3. Most old farts say that, probably because getting In is difficult. Listen to the under 30s where 92% want in. Anyway I dont want to apply for a Visa to go to The Canaries.
  4. Then I stand corrected, I do realise that due to objections from local residents, some details have been amended, in recent years.
  5. Correct me if I am wrong, but. If I remenber correctly, the planning restriction was no engines to be fired up until 6.30 pm, dont think it detailed the racing format or when the 1st race must be.
  6. Good chance for Berwick then, make hay while the sun shines. A full contingent from Newcastle will be a different matter, so I hope you are right, only on this occasion of course. FORUM FUNNIES live for ever
  7. Totally agree, rr rarely works, but we have had it now for 2 weeks, only 2 weeks now for Anders return. with very little out there, worth putting up with early season. Should be OK against Scunny, and Newcastle with a full contingent may turn a full Berwick team over anyway.
  8. Only by the 'Forum FUNNIES' eh! On a positive note, I would stick with Anders, he will return refreshed, and hopefully we will see the Anders of last season.
  9. Hes been limping since he came off at Lawsons, before the season started, a month of rest and Physio and we will see the Anders of last year. Weather really nice here, but bl**dy cold, anyone travelling wrap up warm.
  10. Seems that Edinburgh were running scared, so they arranged for lots of rain, fantastic to be a God and have that type of power. Either that or they are saving themselves for Berwick.
  11. Are they having a proper Ref from England, or a biased one from Scotland.
  12. It sounds like an arguament just for the sake of it then, but hey!, thats the forum.
  13. He did score well as a guest though, thats why Berwick booked him in the past, is it not. i\am sure he is pretty handy at most tracks aswell, and thatswhy other teams book him aswell
  14. Saturday night at Berwick guestinng for Newcastle 2+1, 3 , 2 , 3 , 2+1 = 12+2
  15. It's those last 5 races that are Berwicks Achylies Heel. I would have loved to have come down to see this one, I highly rate Newcastle and should be in the top 4. To be honest, If Newcastle had it's full team on Saturday at Berwick, it may well have been a different result, but as said you can only race against what is in front of you. It will be no disgrace for any team to lose to Newcastle this season, as long as they have put up a good fight, as Berwick did on Sunday
  16. Would have loved the full Newcastle team at Berwick tonight ,its one of the top 4 teams in my opinion
  17. A great win for Berwick, it's been a long time coming, but worth the wait. As Eric Boocock said to me when Hull won the league, the right place, the right time and lots of luck thats speedway. It was the best opportunity to take advantage of, the weakest Edinburgh team in a very long time, combined with Berwick 3 riders that ride THE DUMP well. Lets hope Berwick has a few more opportunities like this. WELL DONE SCOTT AND ALL THE LADS, including Anders who hasn't had the best start, still believe he will come good though
  18. Strange arguament this, in essence all of the No7s are NL riders, some with a bit more experience than others. It is a massive leap between PL and NL and most would be out of their depth if it was not for the new format. The lad needs a chance let him get it, it's seems more to be a bit of one upmanship between Tigger fans and Monarch fans.
  19. Got to have dreams, even if they are wet ones Perhaps our promotion are now capable of granting wishes.
  20. Think we would be defrocked fairly rapidly
  21. Good job Scott stopped any track prep when the covers were removed, a good managerial decision.
