Jorgensen along with Doolan have been class acts all season, have completely carried the team of late and if we manage to get top 6 or into the KO cup final (here's hoping) the two of them should go down as hero's of Berwick speedway, unbelievable both of them, will be tough to choose between for rider of the season tbh

We need a number 1 and we need to know and make a decision about Claus, we cant wait forever and Claus isn't going to be firing like he was before his injury, its went dramatically down hill in 2 weeks

Funnily enough I also remember this happening and it sprung to mind when hearing of this incident, Dave Dowling must not be very aware of the goings on -
Redcar V Somerset Thursday 9th July

Taken from Ben Duffill's facebook 'I want to give my version of last nights events in the Redcar V Somerset meeting Going off the averages printed in last nights programme Matej Kis was eligible to take an R/R ride. Before the meeting began, the referee in charge was questioned as to whether Matej would be the one who is allowed to take an R/R ride and it was confirmed that he was the one we had to use. Matej took his ride in heat 8 and before this, the change was submitted to the referee (Somerset were fully aware of this at the time) as required and it was accepted. At this point no protest was made by the Somerset management, nor after the race, so they were obviously happy and in agreement that this was ok. Not until after heat 12 when Redcar had taken the lead was a protest made. Both sides had been in agreement up until this point, as was the referee who was in charge. Lets turn this on its head. Had I tried to use Stuart Robson in heat 8, this would have been rejected by both the Referee and Somerset management and we would have been in a situation where we were having to appeal. We acted under the guidance of the referee in charge and both sides were in agreement. So the questions I'm asking are: Why did Somerset not protest before the meeting regarding Matej Kus being confirmed as the one to take an RR ride? Both sides were in agreement at this point. Why was an appeal not placed before and immediately after Heat 8? Appealing after Heat 12 once Redcar were leading does sound like sour grapes to me. Redcar came out on top on the night, it was a great performance and the result should stand.' -
Jorgensen was ahead of Lambert going into bend 1 in Heat 9 and got to the corner before him, I feel like because he got to the corner before him it completely cut Lambert off eho was just behind him and Jorgensen was leaning in to the corner, I think neither deserved to be excluded as it was a racing incidentnon the first corner and Flint the referee got it right in all 4 back, although unfortunately Robert couldn't take his place in the re-run

Luke Ruddick riding at number 2 for Mildenhall, comes from Berwick but was born in Scotland, Ryan McDonald lost his team place in the national league a couple of weeks ago, I cannot remember who he was riding for though, possibly Stoke? -
Yes Kelvin Tatum and Nigel Pearson will be doing a talk show early next year for Berwick Bandits Supporters Club and Bandits 2012 Group

Sheffield Vs Berwick

Hahaha worth a punt, it was in an ideal world but I really wasn't expecting Bates to score what he did and was expecting Hall to pull his finger out on a track that he is so familiar with but that didn't happen...Oh well TJ and Kev done well, they've been brilliant all season but we're struggling at the bottom end now as well as the lack of riders at the top end of our team -

going Sheffield 48 Berwick 42 with Cook and Bellego getting high scores but Berwick to hopefully nick a point, after last night I highly doubt it though -

The battle of the 'we wont replace our injured riders' teams -
Sky need to go to Scunthorpe before its too late, one of the best tracks in the country along with Peterborough and Somerset imo and it's going to be very sad to see them go if they do, I hope that the fact that Berwick will be bringing a bus down to the Scunthorpe vs Berwick match will help their bid for survival as it is a track that speedway can't afford to lose

To me it was a lot better than some of the s*** we've watched racing wise this season, a few passes is a few more than what we normally get to see. The racing at Shielfield has deteriorated over the last few years from the Complin, Smith and Mudgway days with only a few riders now seemingly being able to pass on our track, Kev fortunately being one of them

Cook inplace of Stead, I take it R/R for Birks Fisher in for Barker, Carr in for Edberg and R/R for Vissing

It's not his job to, his job is to attend every week with his £, they should have someone already to do this sort of job but unfortunately they dont, no disrespect to Lani but she has a job as well as kids and therefore I feel as though there should be someone who just does this, like someone who is retired or someone with a lot of time on their hands who would be comitted to doing this

Peterborough obviously had a say in this meeting as they would have to agree to ride their but surely it should of been brought up that they have riders riding in the Danish league and that they may be riding that day, another farce in this league and yet again what a suprise its revolving around Peterborough, it makes a joke of our sport tbh

CVS didnt need to check the rules, he wouldnt of thought to check the rules for signing a premier league rider from the elite league as he is an elite league promoter, it is Peterborough's job to make sure that they are able to make this signing and after the BSPA has approved it is when they should announce it to their fans
