  1. I just think that if he had Kyle Buckley’s standard of machinery, he’d be better than him in all honesty, but obviously that’s all ‘what if’
  2. Says it on the Plymouth Gladiators official facebook page… I’ll listen to them over you I think ‘Ben getting read for tonight’s meeting, he is keen to get his hand on some of that £10k prize pot #plymouthgladiators #plymouthspeedway’
  3. Did you go on Saturday? And to Redcar? Think you’d have a different opinion if you saw who he was beating and passing in those 2 meetings on different tracks, beat plenty Championship riders, under the same system will be a lower star rating than Bickley, saving you an extra point in the main body. He was streets ahead of Morley, Gilkes and Mulford on Saturday, with better equipment coming from better sponsors he would be even better.
  4. £10k prize pot! Where’s all the Plymouth money coming from
  5. Would love to see Greg Blair given the number 7 next season, if same sort of rules apply, with some decent equipment he would give it a real go
  6. Well he’s not signed ? That is just a lie. Last meeting of the season going to be in early september then? Thought there would be some form of challenge or individual meeting, shame
  7. But he does live at the complete other end of the country, and so may not want to do a 14 odd hour round trip
  8. Why would Leicester be telling a ‘random’ Berwick fan… bit strange
  9. Nobody mentioned Sheffield or Owlerton, Shielfield is Berwick’s stadium
  10. Okay let’s spell it out… Berwick can use track covers… apart from when Berwick Rangers are playing at home, as you obviously cannot have track covers on when the football is on, due to quite straight forward health and safety reasons, with it being a massive slip/trip hazard, no problems with using track covers any other time, although they don’t use them as it takes a lot of people, a lot of time, to put them on and take them off, and Berwick haven’t got the volunteer numbers, although theres not been a meeting that could of been saved by them, so don’t know whether they would use them if the opportunity arose.
  11. Tbf individual wise, I was meaning the 12 riders on show, and 4 more riders, even if they were connected to the club, such as Crang, Pijper, that sort of stuff, so at least it was a competitive meeting rather than like you say, a practice session
  12. It’s not the Bandits, or the Bullets, it’s 2 mixed teams, surely nobody wants to watch McDonald v Etheridge and Douglas v Gappmaier? I would of preferred a full NL challenge, at NL prices! Or a full championship challenge, at Championship prices, or an individual meeting with all the riders and a couple other interesting names, just my personal opinion of course, but I don’t think Berwick Bandits are worth £17/18 this season on a track which often offers very little racing, (Plymouth meeting was better tbf) nevermind a watered down challenge meeting, still looking forward to Glasgow, Kent double header and hopefully the Eastbourne double header too!
  13. If Eastbourne get themselves sorted, they could easily catch Scunthorpe imo, win their 3 home meetings in hand, and a win and a point away from home in their 3 away meetings and they’re back with them, I know it’s not as simple as that, same with Birmingham, but less likely
  14. Well if Berwick aren’t allowed to have covers on the track from 2pm-tapes up on a Saturday every second week, that’s a big problem really, and we’re the only team that has any
  15. Well it is… You’re obviously not quite up to scratch with forums…
