Scunthorpe Scorpions 2022
allthegearbutnaeidea replied to IronScorpion's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Yes… 2 other leagues, 1 will be the top league of UK, you’re just repeating me, if he gets a deal in Sweden or DK, he won’t be riding in Championship. No team have mentioned rising stars for this season, will probably be rules in place to have brit at reserve, but have a feeling the rs system has been scrapped -

Ellis has signed for Daugavpils, so if hes presumably staying in top league, that would leave 1 more league, unless he’s signed up in Sweden or Denmark already… -

So the question that people are concerned about is how will Jamie run two clubs in the same league, I’d imagine -
Oxford Cheetahs 2022
allthegearbutnaeidea replied to CowleyCheetahs's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
All correct, but, Jamie Courtney runs Berwick not Scott, Scott took a step back, but is still a co-promoter, as far as I’m aware Jamie is going to be the promoter at Oxford, but will not be putting any money into it, and just representing someone else, for the need to have a BSPA licensed promoter -
Number 8, would still rule him out of doing more than 1 other league though would it not

Linked with Torun, good luck battling a team with Emil, J Holder, Lambert, Przedpelski and Dudek, let’s see if Glasgow are the money men after all

Oxford can’t ride Friday’s, and can’t ride in Premiership, due to our lovely club owners and BSPA boss men -

Why would he want to ride for Birmingham, they don’t have owners currently, and so would have no ties or loyalties to stay with them -

Wildcards 2022
allthegearbutnaeidea replied to waiheke1's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Agree with round wildcards, stop letting the host pick one, FIM/discovery should be handing them out to riders who they view would either be best on that track to mix with the other 15, or who they think deserves a chance, with a view of a permanent wildcard the following year, fair enough with home track specialists in the Polish gps and stuff, but for example, the first gp next season is Gorican, do we really need to watch Jurica Pavlic? -

I love how this season, having side effects of covid vaccination, and having covid are fine, but having a bad cold/flu are suddenly not okay, as if everyone’s forgot that other illnesses can be much worse than covid, and that covid’s not the only illness around
