  1. Like Harris on Andersen last week then? Jye gave it out to Barker at the fours and took it back off A Morris in the last race of the semi which stopped us from going through but he didn’t create any fuss about it. Pickering and him have had some great battles these past 2 years.
  2. Would just like to say a thank you to Nick Morris, he helped Jye 10 fold last year when partnered together with him getting his first home win thanks to Nick team riding him brilliantly, he, along with the Edinburgh promotion, have given us a terrific battler who is not afraid to give it out and FIGHT for his points, something that every fan wants to see for their team, it is so good to see and he has been a pleasure to watch this past year and a half to see how much he has progressed after being disgustingly treated by the Edinburgh promotion. Now he’s dominating Chris Harris and controlling the race to keep him behind.
  3. HAHAHAHAHA some result ch ceeman We’ll still not make the play offs but to pump them lot on aggregate when they’re probably paying Cook and Harris more than we pay for all 7 of our boys every meeting it doesn’t half feel good.
  4. No you was trying to make him look bad, you didn’t just ask the question, you asked it whilst insinuating that that is what they were doing.
  5. I agree with this scoreline, think it will be a close one with us holding on by a couple of points.
  6. Don’t think that’s the idea and certainly don’t think that’s going to help speedway to survive in this country with a mindset like that.
  7. Roy wont be a miss to me, worse than Cresent Girl and that’s saying something I appreciate what he does at Newcastle and Redcar but not a fan of his style and he puts no effort in at Berwick compared to the other two tracks.
  8. Because no foreigner is allowed an average below 4...
  9. He’s on a 5.2 your rider has to be a brit on a 3
  10. Sorry but Edinburgh and Lakeside around the Somerset track look too strong for Auty and Allen, could well make the Semi but feel one might bottle it in a one off final and as soon as you have a last place you’ve lost it.
  11. Group 1 Lakeside (Morris & Lawson) Scunthorpe (Auty & Allen) Edinburgh (Wells & E Riss) Peterborough (Nicholls & Palm Toft) Berwick (Doolan & Summers) Group 2 Sheffield (Howarth & Wright) Ipswich (Schlein & Covatti) Glasgow (not sure on pairing but will be either Harris & Vissing or Vissing & Starke) Redcar (Barker & Jorgensen) Workington (Proctor & Klindt) For me I really think Worky could be spoilers but Edinburgh, Lakeside and Sheffield have to be the favourites, I’ll go with Edinburgh to win. Hope it’s good weather and a good crowd.
  12. Yeah Wells probably the only rider on par in this league around Shielfield as Cook
  13. No Cook though and I don’t think the 10.40 to play with for a guest will make up for his easy 15/18 max he would of got. GP Challenge that night
  14. smith got his average at sheffield this year though and greaves hadn’t got his average for wolves when redcar signed him I don’t think. Fairly sure Clegg won’t be on his 4 odd championship average. Lawson is a strange one, hasn’t rode competitively for a long time and his scores havn’t been eye opening in the open meeting and anniversary meeting I think it was, Clegg also around 10 years younger than him but for entertainment purposes I would like Lawson to become a Monarch just so I can see him around Shielfield again.
  15. Another bore fest tonight, I’ll probably go to Glasgow and will go to Pboro as I want to see Nicholls but there is nothing attracting me anymore apart from an old rider who I havn’t seen ride for a long time
  16. Not like Worky beat us last week ahahaha you had 6 riders, 5 was your own, only 3 turned up
  17. Why would you do that when they’re guarenteed to have a strong reserve as his partner, you put the strong one in the easier heats to maximise the amount of points you can get...
  18. It’s the truth though, it’s all well and good winning meetings home and away but your riders arn’t getting paid for it
  19. But as Birmingham said in their press release, they had contacted a lot of young riders who were all unavailable to ride so Gary joked about stepping in and then decided to actually do so as it would be a fantastic experience for him to ride with his son in the same team.
  20. Well they had 6 and R/R which is fairly normal until Buxton became scared of a 37 year old who’s son is better than him
