As intimated by The SS , there should be an announcement early this week.
Let us hope this happens and the Aces are secure for 2017 and then we can move on to a long term future in the NSS.
No doubt the hard core facts will then emerge re 2016 and we can see exactly what the problem was and know exactly what happened ( or as near to the truth as we will ever get.
I gave up going to Speedway irrespective of the weather forecast a long time ago.
If I do not like the forecast then I stay at home.... advantage is I don't end up driving home brassed off because a meeting has just been rained off !!!!
I still get to about 70 meetings a year
Ask Workington.... they would not be running in 2017 had they not gone for a prudent budget in order to survive.
Ask Plymouh .... who have gone down to the NL to cut costs and hopefully survive long term
I saw Bates twice at Glasgow,,,
Riding for Sheffield he looked completely out of his depth
Guesting for Somerset he rode out of his skin and gave Somerset the result they needed
That is the problem inconsistency
As long as the team has the potential to reach the play offs that will do me.
We should be loyal where possible to those riders that rode last year under extremely difficult conditions
Really pleased that Richie W is set for another year at Glasgow...onwards and upwards in 2017.
Once again Glasgow have a good top 3
Good luck to Richie in particular and Glasgow Speedway in general for 2017
By the noises from the BSPA and SS , as well as !!!
The announcement from the American football team , the Titans , it says they will be sharing the stadium
Glasgow are reportedly paying the biggest money in their league and going by the team strength at Redcar , they are at the other end of the spectrum.
Redcar do have a good hardcore of support even with a poor team
