I sincerely hope that Plymouth continue and join the NL.

Last time we had promotion / relegation , the team winning the lower league could chose not to go up even if they won the play off !!!!

Really pleased that they are continuing. Workington is 205 miles away ... but it is my nearest Saturday track as Stoke and Leicester are no go areas for me. I will be going a few times next year

MCC insisted in the original planning application that it be known as the National Speedway stadium. The Belle Vue promoters asked the BSPA if this would be possible and they agreed. Simple as !!!

The outline changes do in fact look good for the Sport. First real fundamental change in the winter for a very long time. Hope Workington do confirm their presence in 2017. Unfortunately they have not got rid of the Tactical ride Let us hope that these changes bring some stability for Speedway and the Sport can move forward.

Whenever the race day is changed , it will not suit some people, Swings and roundabouts. Sunday 1500 hrs for any long distance travellers can be off putting whereas Saturday evening is much more manageable Hope Saturdays work well fro Glasgow

Shows that Speedway has stupid rules that need kicking out. There is no logic to having the rule applying to the away team only other than helping the home team. The extra 5% on home averages whilst looking for guests is exactly the same. The rules should apply to both teams or not at all.

I feel very sorry for any Birmingham fans that made the journey only to find that Shanes could not ride. Massive blunder by Drury ( I assume he sorted out the team ) which makes the Sport look completely amateurish. Although Eastbourne deserve their win it does have a slight hollow feel to it as Birmingham's blunder turned the result to Eastbourne without a doubt. If Birmingham had named a legal guest then the match could have gone either way.

There was no mistaking his commentary and the time he spent at ITV commentating for World of Sport were absolutely wonderful with his flowing comments. My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

There is one thing foe sure , it is much easier to maintain a good track surface at night rather than mid afternoon on a hot summers day !!! I do hope that it is ratified

I am unaware of the rules re doubling up / down as they seem to change from year to year. and possibly will do over this winter After what happened in Poland this year , I do hope that Craig will still be able to ride in both leagues.

Laurence told me that the away Belle Vue match was his last appearance regards Coventry and he has had approaches from elsewhere

I went to Workington 5 times this year and enjoyed the meetings. Hopefully they will run next year.

Pleased to see Leicester set for 2017 but a little surprised that they are still in the EL. There is an implication that there are some changes within the structure of British Speedway... let us hope that they are fully thought out
