Just got back. The worst meeting that I have seen in the last ten years. Entertainment on the track........ 1 out of 10 and that is being generous

Great to see that berwick have a new promotion. 3 ex riders involved should help steady the ship and hopefully achieve some stability.

AGM is early November so whatever is happening , then all will be revealed shortly after

ask Eastbourne or Birmingham if they are content in the NL after losing money hand over fist in the EL NL offers lower wages to payout , less traveling and a chance to make some money. I personally hope that Plymouth go in to the. NL and start a new era for Plymouth.

well done Sheffield. i saw the league match last month and Sheffield were truly dreadful. For me Siisis at reserve produced a super performance. So Sheffield on Wed and Somerset on Thursday......

Presumably we are still talking of Sunday meetings. In which case , an absolute bargain and weather permitting I will go as often as possible even though it is almost a 400 mile round trip for me. Good meetings come from a well prepared track with riders of similar abilities....irrespective of the actual level. Sadly some Elite supporter think that the only good racing is with top class riders. How wrong they are.

Perhaps it can be on Monday..... Sheffield have used this day before for rain off meetings. I went to Glasgow v Sheffield last month and Sheffield performed terribly..... they will need a marked improvement on Sunday

As much as I admire Matej as a brilliant racer when on form , he has been very inconsistent this year .. even for Gorzow , his Polish club. You need a number 1 who is going to do the business week in week out ... I accept all top riders will have an occasional off par performance. Both Matej and N, K Iversen have had a poor run in the SGP this year until the last two when suddenly both back to their brilliant best !!! As long as Belle Vue have a competitive team that will get them to the play offs , I don't mind whether Matej is in or out of the team.

The PZM can make their own rules re those riders riding with a PZM license. I do not believe they can insist on other riders only riding in 2 countries.... Other than threatening to release them from their polish contract. Take N K iversen ..lives in Britain and can only ride in Poland and Denmark if he abides by the Polish threat It is not likely but a Polish rider could technically ride on a British license but would probably be then banned from riding in Poland. Simon Wigg rode on a Dutch license for a few years !!

A simpler way would be to leave the averages as they are. Calculate the average team strength over the Elite league from the final averages and either have that as the team points limit or use the value to decide where to put the team points total. Next year the averages will naturally sort themselves out,

Both sets of riders struggled with bends 1 & 2 in particular. It was like a comedy of errors to see who came out of bend 2 unscathed. Very poor entertainment with regards to any quality of racing. Good promoters , good stadium , good crowds ....shame about the track where even the home supporters agree it is difficult to pass .

There is no way I will attend Stoke whilst the present promoters are in charge. I used to go regularly when Jon Dews did the track and I could expect to see good racing..... The last few times that I did attend , the track was poor and the quality of the racing was just as bad as the track. Hence I do not go now. I am however doing a 600 mile round trip for two matches this weekend....both matches as a neutral...

NO TRs full stop !!! I call it the mickey mouse rather than TR...... it makes the Sport look Mickey Mouse.... which it probably is with regards to how the Sport is run.

I remember seeing him in Finland the year before he came over. He had just done a deal with Workington and was so pleased to be coming over to Britain. A genuine rider who gave a lot of pleasure to those watching him race.

Wolves are in the driving seat and are favourites now after the first leg. However , Belle Vue have a massive challenge to turn it round and I do believe they can do it if all 7 riders ride to their best ability. One thing for sure we are in for some great racing tomorrow.

Have they started work on the track / stadium yet ?
