Panthers v Stars 04/07/22
Bald Bloke replied to scoobydoo's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Bomber to lead the Panthers to a comfortable win if Tofty is properly fit. If Bomber continues his recent form, he could score nearly double what RR could get us for NKI. We're not winning enough races for my liking, so will need to be making starts to stand any chance of getting some points out of this one. 50-40. -

Looks like Tom Brennon 4.73 pips BB 4.69 going by Todays GSA's. -
For some reason i thought it was 9 days. Better safe than sorry.

Just the Lynn meeting i thought ?
-
I think I’d rather have Tungate if I’m honest. How long will it be before Killer bins it again.
-
Not sure if i'd want that tbh. But i doubt there are many options, unless someone one is willing to drop a country.. But if it did happen it would leave us 1.30 under the limit, and i think we would have to try and use that to strengthen one of TJ ,Lewi or Richie if we are serious about top 4. But again there's not much about. We don’t really have the time to hang about waiting to see if NKI can come back later on.

Bomber. Issue 1 6.84.... issue 11 8.00
-
I was only 6 ft away against the wire barrier. Lewi was off his bike like a rat up a drain pipe. Pretty sure i heard Holder call him a W
-
I've just seen this from Lewi Kerr. Made me laugh Holder was excluded for the incident which took place while riding behind Kerr, and the duo had a few words in the pits afterwards. Kerr said: “He blamed me for him falling off. He called me something, so I let him have it.

You never know, he might be. I'd have him in a double change to fit a top rider in if needed. But with the way a few of your riders are going and being bottom, you'd probably have nowt to loose to give him a go.. Having said that, we go bottom if you beat us on Monday
-
I wouldn't want him for any of our riders. Nothing really to gain.
-
If we have any chance of top 4 we need 2 riders imho. Obviously 1 for Neils, if we can find one, and 1 for either TJ, Lewi, or Richie. I think any one of them 3 are ok at reserve, but any 2 of the 3 ain't strong enough for our engine room.
-
My thinking is that we are weak whoever we have at reserve. But in the engine room. If TJ, Richie or Lewi are at reserve, our engine room isn't good enough. So we have 7.89 to play with for Niels. We know Lambo fits ( Just dreaming) and Rasser comes in just under. I was confident on the Rasser thing to P/boro, bit something is/was up( or i was told bull crap). We're not privy to what goes on behind the scenes, so who knows. But i think TJ and Lewi are the Scott McTominay of the Stars
-
I'm glad someone else has posted this Tel . I agree, if we are serious we need to make changes somewhere. No doubt TJ will be back in the 1-5 after a month. But if we don't do something very soon we're done for a top 4 spot. If the Panthers beat us on Monday we are 10 points behind 4th placed Wolves, and bottom.
-
It is strange. I thought it was going to happen. With Rasser i guess anything could of happened, but yeah the NKI thing might of had something to do with it. But Sedgmen is up for grabs and in the UK. Probably snapped up by Sheffield after last night.
-
Yeah he's not a number 1. Much more suited to 3 or 5.
-
I would imagine Buster put a big chunk of cash into the club. Who knows what's in the small print. We're not privy to what's going on behind the scenes, but does seen strange that changes haven't been made.
-
I did.. I was out for a meal and left my phone at home. I got home at 7.28 and hit the bet as it was on TV… for some interest in the meeting. Was only a tenner, but would of been a tenner I lost.
-
I have nothing against him. It's just that he has dropped off the most from last season, and the significant Improvement in the heat leader positions affects every rider in the league. I think out of the 30 riders in the Prem that ride in the 1-5, there's only 2 riders that have won less than Richard.. And they are all riding with better riders....Will will see if he can pick it up in the 2nd half of the season. I'm getting bored of this one now. We can agree to disagree on this one.
-
Gone with the Tigers-10 and the tie
-
If Dan had watched the Stars last season and this one so far, he would see the drop off isn't due to Niels and Josh. I like Richard and hope he gets back to winning races for us again on a more regular basis this season. Whatever happens i'll be there cheering the lads on every week regardless.
-
His average may well of been inflated a bit. But he was winning races against other teams top riders on a regular basis last season and they didn't all have sh$t teams/riders .This season he isn't. You can't tell me he has gone for 30 wins in 77 last season, to 4 wins in 34 so far this season due to the fact we have Niels and Josh. He was beating that quality of rider last season.. It will make a bit of a difference, but not to that extent. I presume you watched him both this season and last ??. For whatever reason he doesn't look as sharp/fast as he did last season. We just have different opinions as to why Richard has dropped off so much. Yes he's not the only one who needs to improve, i agree. When has TJ and Lewi been consistent, will they start now? Josh's away ave is poor i agree. Maybe Niels and Josh have put a curse on him this season
-
I know riders are hard to come by. I just threw Lawson's name out there because he sits on 7.84 as of now, but averaging 5.88 so far this season. But there's more to it than that.... Last season he won the most races by a country mile for us. 77 rides and 30 wins. So far this season he has won 4 in 34 races, and everyone has won more races apart from our number 7. That's a massive drop off. We need to be winning more races.
