  1. If it is the case. And i say if, because until we hear from either Cookie or someone in the know, we can't be sure. But Cookie has been honest before regarding his health. We will have to see if it's the same with Glasgow i guess. Craig is a quality rider, and if it is the case i wish him a speedy recovery.
  2. I'm thinking it might of been mutual. You don't replace Cookie with Lawson to make your team better imho.
  3. I think it's more likely to be due to his anxiety, than his riding on track. I read he was having panic attacks before the Ippo meeting. I don't know if it was true i must add. But wish him well.
  4. I can't see Lewis lasting long, if im honest. I know he has been out for a while, but i can't see him making it pay, or gets jarred off and packs it in.. He was dangerous last night, apart from his last ride. I thought Cookie must of had bike trouble, but thinking back his body language wasn't right in the pits. He looked a bit heavy to me as well. Unless he had one of them airbag jackets on. I read somewhere that he was suffering mentally (anxiety) before the season started after having a year off. If that is the case, i wish him well.
  5. Wolves looked sharp. Not the away team and their first meeting. Cookie had bike probs. I think Ty is a reserve in this league. The track was way slicker than when i last went 2019. I heard Buster talking to Dale about race times ??.Crowd i'd say 1300 ish. Lewis looked dangerous when at the back.In the race he trapped looked good. Might be trying to hard.
  6. I missed the Ippo meeting. So a few questions.. 1. If i buy a ticket online now, how do i show them i have bought one at the stadium? 2. Is the bar open Thanks in advance
  7. Ticket office on the Stars website Kings Lynn Stars (seatedly.com)
  8. Still tickets available, and max of 1000 fans. Don't look good. I think Rory will the the one to watch out for tonight. They are actually watering the track
  9. I reckon same as last season, with maybe a 50p booking fee.
  10. I spoke to Buster briefly yesterday. He said he is till waiting for confirmation, as you thought.
  11. So if this turns out to be the case. The AFA's capacity is around 5,000 i think. We should be fine with 2,500.
  12. Should be top team goes into play off final, with 2nd and 3rd placed teams, to fight it out to join them imho.
  13. I wish Lewis all the best. But here comes the "but". For me, anyway. He's been out 4 years, thats a long time. I wonder how he is going to like a big fast grippy track, where you need fast bikes, and some fair size gonads. I doubt he has top equipment, if any yet ,and they don't come cheap. Also he seems to be in and out of love with the sport. So can he commit for a full season and give 100% ? Having said that i wish him all the best for whoever he rides for. .
  14. I'm thinking of putting a cap full in my lawn mower. I'd probably cut the grass more often, and with a smile on my face.

  16. I remember watching Mike when he was 14, flying around Saddlebow Rd as it was known then, I used to time him. He was close to the meetings race times, even then. Another thing that stands out is him practicing after a meeting before his comeback. I was standing next to Kelly and Shaun Moran, leaning on the little wire fence opposite the home straight bar. Can't remember which brother said it, but can still remember one saying "he's to fast" as Mike powered out of the 4th bend and his front wheel hovered 6 inches above the track, all the way down the home straight until he entered the first bend, for 4 or 5 laps.. Also remember his first meeting back at Lynn. He had Todd Whiltshire in his first ride. Todd was flying then and was a great trapper. Mike gated, and won by half a straight.
  17. I admit to not being a Ford fan. I see it the same.
  18. His has turned the corner for sure. Hope we see him for the Stars in 2021, but i have my doubts about him riding in the UK now..

  20. I say good luck too.But just think if he carries on like he is doing, he will miss UK.
