  1. When i read your post, i thought about changing my earlier prediction from 55-35 to 60-30.. But keeping with the positivity of Mondays win, i'll stick with 55-35. Come on you Stars
  2. Ben Cook, and Blodorn are probably the best pair, if willing. 55-35 ish. The sooner we replace Toby, if possible the better..
  3. This is referring to the many loyal fans of the Stars, is it not?.... Who would all suffer if you got your wish. Bad taste imho. You soon flip flopped to this one.. This one, i would hope is nearer how you feel.
  4. Prediction time. I can't see a repeat of last months visit by the Tigers. In our 10 point win, we had Nicolai and Paddy at 2 and 5 who scored 24 between them. Add to that that its 26 deg here at the moment. So expect the track to be slick again. I'll go something around the 43-47 mark. Becker 6 , Kvech 11 NKI 8, Lawson 7, Paddy 7, Rowe 4.. Probably be miles out Anyone else ?
  5. A league winning team all day long. Just for fun, as of 1st August 44.33 for top 6.Yes i have got to much time on my hands today
  6. Taken from a message i got Monday. "I know Lewi is guesting Thursday and they’re going to sort a deal out after." Mind you, he didn't set the world on fire against Ippo, so, who knows.
  7. Lets hope so. That is the trouble with second strings. They are capable of scoring 3 or 9
  8. How sure are you on Becker? He's averaged just 5.47 this season, and only 4.00 away from Leicester so far this season.. Surely someone better is available?
  9. As Tel said yep. For a home meeting we have these points available for guests, Ben 7.07, NK 6.92, Toby 6.16?. You potentially have Magic 6.04, Lawson 6.53, Harris 6.33,Masters 6.47, Becker 5.93, Ellis 6.07, Wright 6.27, and dare i say Rew after his display on Thursday. Magic and Lawson would be my ideal picks. But a few to hopefully choose from.
  10. King 12, Cook 5 at lynn last night.I realise Zach is a second string/reserve. With respect he isn't yet at the level we need at the mo. But i realise options seem limited.
  11. Zach isn't good enough. And neither is Kerr. If they give Kerr a place, which is what i was told, then is just going through the motions.
  12. I offered him a pint after the meeting, but he said Buster had it covered
  13. Lets hope Zach Cook rides like he did the other night for Oxford. He'll be out to impress for sure. Should be a decent crowd, with some from the Foxhole in attendance. Would love the win, but my head says 42-48
  14. On a positive note Tel. What about.. Kerr 5, Cook 6, NKI 10(6), Paddy 8, Jan 12(6) Rowe 5 . And we have a win Wheres me coat....
  15. On Ben. Lets hope it turns out to be the case.. "The Stars’ injury problems increased last week when Benjamin Basso crashed out of the loss at Sheffield. The Dane would have been ruled out on Thursday in any case due to concussion, but he is also sidelined by a shoulder injury although it is hoped that this is not a long-term issue, and that he will be able to resume at some stage in early August."
  16. Don't know about a No.1. But i was told on Monday that Lewi is guesting at 1 on Thursday, and they’re going to sort a deal out after. Nothing on a Tobi replacement though.
  17. Is there any concrete news on Ben's' injury, and can we expect him back this season.
  18. Yep. RACEDAY PREVIEW: KING’S LYNN – ROWE MOTOR OIL PREMIERSHIP R2 (A) - Ipswich Witches Speedway
  19. Leigh Adams (99-2000) ? Crump 2001? and Darcy Ward (2009) . I can't remember when Buster took over
