  1. I'll give NKI the benefit on this one.. I thought Buster was the culprit here for getting Simon in. But after your info, i'll have to give him the benefit on this one as well.
  2. Ben has got a ride for Oxford against Lynn tonight, replacing the injured Luke Killeen.
  3. After an away win, and hoping we could have a good end to the season, it was probably to much to ask... I thought we had this one, with our far better reserves..Then we lose Niels, who's going very well, and in comes Simon Lambert.. Not only that, but NKI was due to take one of Basso's RR rides. Nightmare season, from what looked like being the our best for a long time, when the team was announced.
  4. Funny that you should say that. Basso's ban meant he missed 7 meetings for Lynn. Exactly what we had left to run . And as you say, him and others will still get a team place over here next year.
  5. They might make it, but they only have 20 from the first 5 heats😉
  6. Yep, no Becker. Kvech, NKI, Lawson, and another can take a ride.
  7. In general, individual Prem meetings go up on 365 around 2 -3 hours before the meeting starts.
  8. I can also see a Stars win, as long as our 2 guests go ok (NK and BB notched 16 between them last time Oxford visited). I doubt Magic will bag 16 again, but Bomber should score more than 6 from 5 that he got last time. But between then they could score 22. With respect to Ashton Boughen and Luke Killeen, they shouldn't get much change from Lewi and Anders around the AFA. I'll go 48-42 if Tungate is back.
  9. Don't make much sense to me tbh. If the track was that bad wouldn't the away riders find it tougher.
  10. Well thank god we have 4 home meetings and only 2 more away left. At least Paddy can score in the 1-5 at home. Jan has had a couple of bads ones away on the trot as well, and has been decent at home. Well done to Niels last night, and Blodorn did well, who will guest again for us Monday at Brum. Ben Cook would be ok for Basso, if he wants it.
  11. Had a small treble. Leicester +6 win (not as confident on this one) Sheffield win Oxford win @2.89 GL
  12. Didn't he/ the Poles, time that to perfection. I wonder what Rob Lyon really thinks, about the whole situation this season..
  13. I believe you are right, it's 7 meetings. He timed that to perfection.
  14. This season goes from bad to worse, to silly, for various reasons🙁 I make it thats 7 meetings, that he will miss. 4 at home and 2 away. We have 6.59 away, 6.92 home for Klindt. Ben 6.89 away, 7.23 home. In glass half empty mode.. I wouldn't be surprised if Paddy don't last the season in the main body of the team either.
  15. I thought you were doing very well, with really good crowds. Maybe not as well as some say.
  16. No beer today Tel. Blonde moment...Revised... Jan9, NKI 8, the rest as you were😃 51-39
  17. Stick neck out time, just for a bit of fun.Something like Kvech 10, Harris 6, NKI 9, Paddy 3, Wright 6, reserves 7 51-39. Anyone else ?
  18. I doubt it would bankrupt the club at all. But it might mean Ford makes a bit less profit. He might make the same or even a bit more. Would he chance that for his loyal fans, if they wanted Prem. I have my doubts.
  19. As good as Rob might be. I'm sure Basso, or any other rider wouldn't have rode for a Buster club for 3 years,if he wasn't happy with his dea, and wasn't being paid.
  20. I was thinking more his Polish club with Ben. As you say, no problems at PB or Lynn, that we know of in the past. Has Rob been paying Basso then for the last 3 years? I think not.
  21. I don’t like the sound of that Tel, if I’m honest. Hope he’s not another one🤔
