  1. At home we might be able to get by with Kvech and Lawson in the later stages of meetings. If we don't find a genuine No.1,then we must try and use all the points available if possible, for a good engine room. If we can get Anders to stay on a 3.8 at No.6, it will leave us plenty of points for a solid top 5.
  2. Personally i think you need a No.1, but it's not going to be easy finding a genuine No1. I'll take that team right now btw
  3. I've seen some posting on the Lynn 2024 thread, and i know there is a 2025 prediction thread, started by Starboy, but it seems to be a general thread. I thought us Stars fans deserve our own thread. Sorry if it's stepping on Starboys toes. Kvech and Rowe, are no brainers for me. I know they have spoken to Klindt re next season. I'd take Lawson, but money talks, and we lost him this season to Leicester. Would anyone go for an out n out No.1 again, after the Toby fiasco?
  4. No chance. Not 5 points under the limit. Swap Mountain for Kvech, which would put Lewi at reserve all season. And we would still have points to play with... £££ permitting of course.
  5. Bargain on a 7. I'd have him and Kvech on just over 13.5, for Lynn
  6. I heard that Kvech wasn't convinced to come over at first. But is good friends with Topinka, as is Buster. I gather that Tomas helped things along a bit.
  7. Its a balancing act. You need to win your home meetings to keep the crowds, but must try and nick some agg points on the road, if your serious about top 4. I'm not sure on Basso. Both Paddy and Jan understandably haven't been good away either. Jan, Home 7.73 Away 5.16. But 100% should get the benefit of the doubt. Would be my first name on the team sheet. Paddy, Home 6.76 Away 2.82. How many can you have like this, would be my question. His equipment isn't the best either. He wouldn't be on my list for next season. Very early days of course.
  8. Lambo Lawson Kvech NKI Magic Rowe RS Around 39 points as things stand. Wouldn't be cheap though
  9. Well done to the Stars. 5 wins on the spin with a severely patched up side.
  10. Some slag the Lynn track off... But from what i have seen on TV lately, there's been a lot worse.
  11. I hope your right. I can't see Buster staying at all .I'm hoping he will do someone a good deal on the promotion and rent (if anyone wants it), to keep the Stars running.
  12. 17 rides for Sheffield's top 3, 18 if they go 6 behind.. With Picko going well on his shiny new Ashtec engine, the Tigers could score anything from 30 to 35 between the 3 if they go well, and if its nearer 35, it don't leave much for the other 3 to get. Our reserves should out gun the Tigers duo though. 46-44
  13. Has anyone mentioned that we have won 😀 Edit.Tinys posted as I was typing.
  14. Gone with Picko over and ex 9 @ 1.90 and 5.50. Will have at least 5 rides, and is on fire. GL if having a bet.
  15. 2 home meetings, one day after the other. And only 1 club not riding on the 2nd day as well. Not good for Busters pocket
  16. he's averaged 5.08 at home and a great 4.85 away for us this season. Would be an absolute bargain on 3.7.
  17. Both Harris and Lawson can guest for either Jan, BB, or Klindt. King can guest for Jan and BB. Picko, Becker, Wright, Masters, z Cook, Brennen, can guest for NKI, or any of the 4. I think it will be 3 guests and RR.
  18. Not bad. But wouldn't be my pick. As it stands that top 6 is 40.02
  19. Plenty of riders that could be available for Weds. Lawson, Harris, Picko, Wright, Becker, Masters, King, Brennen, Z. Cook. I don't know how many the rules allow, or funds for that matter. We could be fooked Thursday though, if riders aint back. With only BV not riding. Ben Cook, Blodorn maybe.
