  1. Both good young riders.Kurtz edges it for me.
  2. Ermm.I admit I'm no sports scientist,by a long shot.Everything a driver does in the car in an F1 car is logged into data.Speedway tracks vary a lot from week to week. The bikes are so basic,no computers on board, riders ride injured etc.. F1 has computers to monitor tyre pressure, downforce, driver braking,Brake balance from front to rear.Gear changes, and many more.Don't know how much you can use that with a basic bike, with no brakes,no gears.I might be way off the mark after a tipple
  3. I agree. But desire and bottle can fade on a cold, wet winters night. Will up his ave a bit.Probably behind Kurtz for Poole.Nowhere near Doyle.
  4. Its the same for every motorsport.Do none of them count then ..It's worked out from the shortest way around. You can keep on the line and be slower than the rider riding mid track.Geeez
  5. I've seen a Go Pro of Batch practising at Lynn. Probably a slick track as practice, but if I remember right, bends was around 40mph and 65 on the straight and before BV's new track . Lynn was the fastest track in the Prem. Belle Vue - National Speedway Stadium: Track Length (m) TBC, Record set xx.xx by TBC on xx xxx xx. 6. That's what I heard a while back.James Sarjeant was a gift on a 2.58 for 2018. Well done the Lions.
  7. Riders probably ride harder/take more risks in Poland due the the money on offer. If Poole's track is sorted, it should be a good year to be a Poole fan.
  8. Sorry to hear that fella. All the best going farward.
  9. I think he will push NKI for second behind Doyle.Although Kurtz will be there abouts.
  10. The home straight won't be shorter.Just the run from the tapes longer at the start and the run to the line shorter. The thought in this might be that the start line at all tracks ruts up bad.At most tracks the bike isn't in a straight line for long, especially on the home straight. So by pulling the start back 10m the bikes might not be starting to turn on the ruts, creating a better entry into turn one.
  11. Just hope the feds they take your tag curfew off before April
  12. I'm sure TJ will have something to say about that one.A bit of heathy competition would be good
  13. Probably an improvement over last season .I'm pretty sure someone from the club probably read's or hears what's talked about on here. Lets see how things go over the next 2 months. There must be plenty going on for Robin at the mo.Lot's to sort out I guess.
  14. Keeping a tab on riders fitness must be a plus ? ,including a bit more banter and bonding. Healthy body, healthy mind and all that.I know you want the above. It's not going to happen every week..It seems an effort is being made at some cost no doubt.Lets see how things work out over the first month or so.
  15. I use a tinted visor all summer on the road. I can't see why they wouldn't work on a track too.
  16. Can u imagine Man City finishing 15 points clear and coming 4th to Burnley.
  17. Should be who ends up top is the league winners. Is a few pay days for a few clubs worth more than a league winning side ending up 4th.Where else would this happen.
  18. That's what you need.Great 2018 team and a crap track is not good for the riders or the fans.
  19. Just had a proper look.I know teams will change, but how it stands now. Poole. On paper says it all Swindon. Bellego is a risk for me.But Ellis on a bargain. Wolves. Good at home.OK away Leicester.Very strong at home once dialled in.Might struggle away early season.. BV.Home (very fair track for all). Will pick up some points away Somerset .Again good at home. A few away points Rye Great at homeThe odd point away. Lynn. should win most at home. Can't see many,if any away points.
  20. The might be going faster when the hit the sun for the first time, by doing that.Either way they still have to ride 4 laps.
  21. This just shows what can happen....I went Poole last season and have got to again, with that line up.But Anything can happen in speedway. Hope Lynn can do a Swindon in 2018
