I'll be honest.At the start of 2017 I thought David was a risk,and i'm probably not the only one.Half way through the season I was thinking how wrong I was.He did tail off quite a big in the last third. I don't know why.If it was his motors then fair enough.Only he knows, but at 24 he's young enough to kick on or maintain his 2017 average.

As the World Champ Doyle would probably be on over 2x the wages of Morris.After Rosco's claim Swindon lost money last season,i hope that whoever signs Doyle,it wont break their bank.

If you had a 2.5 rider at 7.James Sargent? it would free up another 2 points.So a 7.5 ish rider instread of Rose or Kerr.And you would always have one good reserve.Just a thought

If he was on loan for a season,it wouldn't help his chances of a Swindon team place in 2019 if he didn't drop nearly a point of his average.He might do that anyway if the was a number one..Who knows.

Lynn was going ok.In a play off spot when the brothers grim pulled a strop.They couldn't replace with like for like so did what they could. If they pulled out or dropped down,what would you "Top" clubs do.Race each other every week.There would be no "top division"..

I'd rather Nilsson on a 7.13 than Greg on a fair bit higher average. He surely would cost you guys big money and with his wealth and at 48 i wonder how motivated he would be on a cold wet night.

Agree with that.But think if, and it's a big if,Swindon couldn't fit him in for 2018 i'm sure they would try for 2019...8.87 is pretty high if his heart is with Swindon and he only rode elsewhere for a season.

Pretty sure I read that Swindon were ok for 2018 at the old Abbey.I could be wrong though

I want 7 riders who ​want ​to ride for King's Lynn in 2018. I would rather have Lambo on 7.38 than Morris on 8.87 if I had to choose between them.

The above may well be true,but that shouldn't be a reason for him slag British speedway off the way he does.And theres "That night"...He didn't seem to worry about the fans or his team..I think he's ok on his average and might up it a point,but i'd only take him if i was a win at all costs promoter
