He had a Polish mechanic, but wanted a UK based one.Paul Lambert was asked a few weeks ago, and obviously agreed to help. I was told that Paddy is known for not having the best equipment ?.I believe his last uk mechanic left to help Erik Riss ( i don't know the timeline of this though) and it could of been for many reasons, i don't know.

Don't say that.. I do know 2 weeks ago he was still trying to find a UK mechanic. Hopefully he has found one, and he sorts out tonights gremlins .

I don't thing anyone has said it is tbf. But Toby lying imo about the reason he wasn't coming back , and trying to pull a fast one, don't sit well with me. That part of it is what i think some fans are not happy with. Toby went about it the wrong way imho. He may well have a reason for not wanting to ride for Lynn. But it wasn't his UK injury, again imo. He should of come out with the proper reason for wanting out. We all know it wasn't the track.

Agree.. NKI don't come across a person that would take years of crap and still rides for us. Toby was fuming when Sheffield didn't want him this season. I doubt if his heart was in it from the start tbh. I for one am glad the move was blocked.. I don't blame Ippo for trying though.

Or if Lynn closed, Peterborough might be interested in Swaffham, but its about 55 miles from the Showground. If someone was allowed to run speedway there (PB for example?), it would be enough to close Lynn down if they where running imho.

The dog track looks like it's gone now. Would of been to big anyway. The banger track is a bit bigger than the AFA. Here is a recent vid of the track. The banger track is tarmac and around 370 metres i think. They used run greyhounds there. As far as i can gather that stopped in 2000. Heres an old pic.

It's looking like all us loyal Stars fans can hope for is that Buster has a soft spot for King's Lynn, and after so many years in charge he does his best to let someone keep the sport going in the town for a sensible price.

I might be miles out btw , if it was Sedgman for Klindt, and if Toby is now 6.16, then maybe we could only use NKI, Kvech, and the reserves to take his rides. As thats one rider above in NKI and the others i mentioned.

I'm pretty sure the stadium will stay in Busters ownership. Taking rent for bangers and drift cars ect is relatively easy, compared to running and paying for a speedway team. It would need minimal work from Buster himself. As for Speedway.. Well a good friend of mine ( and i believe him 100%) was talking to a current rider after the Lynn v Oxford meeting last month, about him returning next season. His reply was.. If no one takes over, there will be no speedway next season. So unless theres something going on behind the scenes, that said rider don't know about, or he was telling porky's, it's not looking good at the moment. Theres still time though.
