  1. So today is the day that Plymouth have to sign a 7th rider to be allowed into the league. I’m assuming that even if it comes to it then they would sign a NL 2 pointer and then bring Nico back in once fully fit or a stronger rider if one became available
  2. Thanks for running this again, my team below please. Nathan Ablitt - (SCUN/SHEFF) 8.49 Freddy Hodder - (Belle Vue) 6.44 Ace Pjiper (SCUN/SHEFF) 5.81 Max James (Leicester) 5.70 Harry McGurk (Belle Vue) 3.00 Vinnie Foord (Leicester) 3.81 Mark Parker ( Edinburgh) 3.00 Total - 36.25
  3. So then it can’t be true that they can use guests up to 75% of Covatti’s average
  4. Ok so they literally have to sign someone even if it’s a 2 point national league rider? Is there a British rider without a team who could sign temporarily whilst they keep looking for a heat leader? I mean it gives that rider a chance to impress either Plymouth or another team for when a chance comes up to replace an injured or out of form rider? I guess Ben Morley is the obvious choice? Or maybe James Wright?
  5. So genuine question, what options do Plymouth have on Saturday if they haven’t found anyone? I’m guessing they won’t be allowed to use R/R?
  6. They haven’t been able to find a replacement rider yet, have tried all across Europe but not found anyone willing to ride unless asking for stupid money
  7. Why thankfully? A proven heat leader at this level, especially in a weakened league
  8. Press and practice is this Saturday, will a full team be there?
  9. Thank you, it turns out that there is a stream tonight! I’ve just ordered it
  10. Any news from the press and practice day / meet the riders night about a replacement rider?
  11. I’ve seen him racing quite regularly on the Isle of Wight and yes he’s back to full fitness. Tbh all the chat on here has proven that there is hardly anyone available on the right average so I’d give him a chance and then swap Covatti back in if it doesn’t work out
  12. Agreed, seems way too quiet but hopefully everything is in hand. Really hoping they have a better season. We’ve lost too many tracks in the South recently
  13. Maybe not for the whole season but for a month it could work? Could get the Brummies off to a good start and get the crowds in too?
  14. It might be the case that a GP rider might be more tempted with a temporary stint for early season practice until Pawlicki is fit?
  15. It would be extremely harsh to drop any rider at this stage but if there are genuinely no 8 point riders then what choice do they have? Can’t assume that it would be Hook making way though
  16. But Plymouth have to have somebody…. If you don’t want Kennett, don’t want BWD and all the other possibles are in Poland then what other options do you have? Maybe drop a reserve and sign 2 x 6 pointers instead?
  17. But now fully fit having had his shoulder operated on
  18. Is a fully fit Eddie Kennett such a bad option in a watered down league?
  19. Any other PL riders that could double down? As you say they do have 2 strong reserves and could swap one for a 2 pointer. Would be harsh but can’t run without a number 1. Have no idea on averages, availability or affordability but maybe one of the following? Holder Tungate Becker Basso Tarasenko Wojdylo Ellis Rew Lidsey Blodorn
  20. I emailed them and asked about tickets 7-8 weeks ago but they never replied.
  21. Even if he was 8.21 then he still fits? Covatti was on 7.82 and Plymouth were 0.42 under the limit so can replace up to 8.24?
