Yes, he’s signed elsewhere

No they actually said they only have 2 riders signed on and struggling with the rest of the team, have tried with lots of new overseas riders but they haven’t been meeting the criteria for a visa. Of course that can change and I hope it does and that Plymouth put out a competitive team, it’s a great little club with good supporters and it’s not been nice seeing them struggle to find heat leaders in recent seasons. All I was doing was sharing what I’d been told, no different to every other thread on here where people are sharing who’s signed for which team. If you disagree or think different then no problem and we’ll wait and see what side they declare.

Even if that is the case then surely let speedway run whilst the stadium is still operating? Stocks still run there so I honestly can’t see what the issue is, must be more to it that people don’t want to say publically?
-
I thought teams weren’t allowed to do this anymore (run their team at another track). I’m sure there were plenty that had to stop running when this was introduced, Cradley, Weymouth etc
-
Why is there no chance of speedway whilst the Dugard’s own Arlington exactly? I thought that the previous situation was to do with the level that was proposing to be run at, and they didn’t want to lease the stadium to a national league team?

Any update?

Looks like sadly it did spread to the stadium and has done significant damage https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn38d5yrlk0o

Yep Rosco is a good shout actually, he always seemed to be able to pick a competitive side and get a good team spirit going.

So I was just wondering, was there any confirmation on whether this was true and if so how long he been locked back up for? I ask, not to speculate, but with genuine interest as to whether his aspirations to return to racing are now over?
-
Am I the only one who thinks this is a real shame if true? I was one of those who thought no thanks to riding at my club and he shouldn’t be allowed back near the sport but I watched his interview and thought he showed genuine remorse and wanted to put it behind him and be a better person, from that point I thought everyone deserves a second chance but maybe I’m just gullible.

Didn’t Sam used to be team manager at Reading?
-
He’ll be in a team before the end of the season, he said in the interview that he’s already had offers.

Plymouth Gladiators 2024

Yes apologies for the confusion, his exact words were “We have until Wednesday to find a 7th rider to be able to enter into the league” so I had no idea the deadline was connected to Saturdays postponed meeting -

Ah thank you for the clarification, I’d misinterpreted that it was the league deadline today, makes more sense now why the postponement has given them more time. Only thing is he did specifically say to allow them to enter the league? Sounded more than just the pre meeting declaration -

I’m not sure how that makes a difference, if today is the deadline then today is the deadline? -

No I’m not talking about them needing enough riders if they were riding Saturday. Mark Phillips has stated that the league have given them a deadline of today to declare a full team to be accepted into the league -

So today is the day that Plymouth have to sign a 7th rider to be allowed into the league. I’m assuming that even if it comes to it then they would sign a NL 2 pointer and then bring Nico back in once fully fit or a stronger rider if one became available -
