  1. It's not the 6 point rule which has caused the problem , it's the BSPA by raising the points limit up to 42.50 and with an extra team ( Lakeside ) included for 2018 meant there was a big chance of some clubs struggling to put out a competitive team . It would have been more sensible to have left the upper limit at 40.00 then all would have had a better chance of being competitive .
  2. Anyway I believe kennett does stock cars on Sunday's.
  3. Too late after losing 3/4 home matches the damage will have already been done.
  4. So Panthers with this team could finish in seventh place, is that what you are saying , well that should make for an exciting season now we've sorted that one out . What ever happened to trying to put out a competitive team to start the season with a team that has ambition and a desire to win trophies . This team will not win anything, just not quite bad enough to win the wooden spoon
  5. At least Panthers team this coming season will really look like underdogs . Anything less than 3/4 home defeats will be a bonus IMO. Away from home the only upsets apart from regular beatings I can see are for Panthers fans attending but at the end of the day we still have a club to support or not.
  6. How does he get assessed as 5'00 when other new comers are assessed at 5.20
  7. Shame Ged doesn't own your gate as he could shut it permanently.
  8. I predict Scunthorpe will not finish anywhere near the top 4 , they have 2 decent riders in Steve Worrall and Jake Allen and the rest are very average. .
  9. Maybe they did but Jake Allen showed a bit of loyalty to Scunthorpe.
  10. Nice to know that you are admitting that you may have got things wrong , if only the BSPA would show a willingness to do the same instead of saying they had worked out a compromise that was acceptable to all parties.
  11. With age of modern technology there is no excuse for this situation . I still say it is a disgrace it could have been faxed or one of several other means of communication. Shoddy is a polite way of describing it.
  12. Yes I do , he may have received the info but it was at least a week later than those informed at the AGM , which gave all those that attended a head start on rules and team building which is a very unfair way of doing things IMO.
  13. That's what I have been given to understand they never informed him of the outcome of the AGM and every thing he learned second hand from social media . Very shoddy treatment from the BSPA , they are an absolute disgrace.
  14. Lets hope we get a new chairman and vice chairman that are fair and un biased and are knowledgeable enough to take the sport forward with clarity that was promised as little of this has been seen under the present establishment.
  15. Tom Bacon should be 2.60 with his 2.5 reduction.
  16. I would say 8.50 to 9'00 is what would be perfectly acceptable
  17. If only they meant what they are saying BSPA must be sucking lemons now.
  18. Not sure if you are replying to my statement , but if you are the same rule would apply to all teams should they suffer injuries no matter whichever team involved .
  19. Never mind next year's team building , those promoters should also take into consideration that should any of there top riders get seriously injured in the season ahead they may well be looking for a replacement top rider themselves in 2018 .So as much as they feel aggrieved it could also be of benefit to them.
