buying a speedway star at the track phil?

whatever,whatever about the track it was a very,very poor show from the poole team,that was the real problem,if we tonked them and picked up 4pts no comments about the track.

now starman just read the above two posts and politely apologise, you made a mistake so just a simple apology now reqd (posts 133/134)

obvious talent,we just need these young english riders to progress at the rate of the young poles , and maintain it

didnt expect the aces to wobble until the final,is there a cure or treatment for premature wobbling???

bjarne is still gating,but just slow on the straights,however his problem is when the opposition reserves get close and rattle up on his inside going in to the bends he seems to move out and let them through,a lot of the young british reserves are well up for giving it a go and have just sussed him out.have to add a couple of caveats,ive never ridden a speedway bike and bjarne would have a million times more ability to do so than i would ever have,probably 10 million!!

excellent post bpb,all those that on are on the forum that are up in arms that bjarne is at reserve arent watching him, he really does look like a reserve and if he gets back in the 1-5 its going to be a real weakness.bit of a discussion on the tables around us last nite wondering how watty would have scored at reserve??could he have been worse??

not the greatest idea to give 6,7,8yr olds etc free toys that make a lot of noise,but they were quite cunning the little devils they soon worked out the best time to make the most noise was when the announcer was giving out results,times,r/rs etc.

just a fact,not intending to upset any of their supporters but this year leicester are a very poor team.

you can dress it up how you like,unfortunately its still leicester.in the past free air horns for the kids results in a helluva din before racing and the gas cannisters empty before the first race,will be there tho

"european championships" should absolutely be recognised by british speedway, bad call(remember we were the only major european speedway country to fiercely oppose the introduction of the grand prixs how clever was that?)teams have to have facilitys .more important in my opinion is that we should aim to have gb participants in these competitions, dont know what the qualification is to be in the "qualifiers" but it would be great to get lambert,cook ,ellis garrity ,bates etc in with a chance of making the main event and a chance for them to showcase and get an overseas contract

no team changes this yr, just wouldnt be right,this 1-7 have got to be given the chance to see it through,if they dont pull it off then so be it. a team change now would be disastrous for team spirit

yes lisa,he continually argued that it should be r/r for hans despite being told by several different posters (including peptalk)that there was no facility for hans and r/r was deemed a facility and therefore not an option,this however did not lessen his demands for r/r.however he saved the best to last when protesting that speedway "should be run by the promoters and not the bspa" is that not a classic?(he then sent me a pm telling me to "go to specsavers"???)

talking of mouthpieces just read the fans forum on the poole website(never post)and surprise surprise starman is on posting like mad and making a complete fool of himself

ellis is a tremendous prospect really stylish on the bike,should go a long way in the sport.which club "owns" his contract??

come on gavan havent seen a poole fan moaning,great logical signing, no problem,its lakeside and swindon fans that should be moaning

give it a go steve no t/r decisions to make,just make sure your riders have their right colour helmets on ! which lynn coulndt even get right last nite

absolutely phil, theres nothing to complain about,the play offs could be titanic and after an odd yr with fixtures etc woofy has certainly shaken up this season
