skidder is correct the lease dictates that there has to be 2 of the 3 sports at the venue,and the leaseholder to decide which 2.

skidder i dont believe poole council can impose anything on stadia uk thats not covered in the existing lease,however if stadia uk attempted to develop the site they would need the poole planners on board and as was covered in the echo 6mths or so back several members of the planning committee openly supported ptfc moving back to wimb rd.Stadia uk no interest in a football stadium(torquay!!)but football stadium plus 250 flats now theyre very interested

firstly woz i agree with the various posters who have called for greater transparency on voting at the agm,but if issues are decided by majority and 8 votes available 5 promoters must agree(ignoring abstentions or chairs casting vote)so you cant blame only one promoter when 4 other promoters have voted the same,who knows possibly mr horton was one of those five. if next yr poole team is pretty average and mid table i wont come on here and blame promoters of other clubs.I do realise woz, speedway has some problems but in the elite league the big problem is that swindon,lakeside and coventry have serious stadium issues hardly matt fords fault,and with poole town now only 2 promotions away from the football league and no stadium who knows what stadia uk are thinking??

i think all mr horton is trying to do by continually crying about poole and matt ford is to deflect attention away from his own woefully inadequate abilty to build a decent team

how many away matches can a club finance with no income?belle vue must have a very understanding bank manager or deep pockets

its all bit of a mess,and will create more problems for next season,but at the end of the day thems the rules for this season so promoters and team managers have got to get on with it,and somebody will be top and somebody will finish bottom.

for the teams that make the play-offs having the right reserves in position for those matches could prove vital,promoters and team managers will be busy on their calculators thro july and august,tho one or two will have their tin of counting beans out, then blame somebody else.

agree with you gavan,can see a lot of people picking their meetings this yr,of course this will have no effect on the large number of holidaymakers attending during the summer months,they attend regardless(doesnt even matter who the promoter is)

with garrity at reserve he will be able to take 7 rides,oh silly me hes not a reserve

thankyou skidder for making the effort to clarify things for everybody,the amendment allowing either reserve to be promoted does make sense,good for the two reserves as well to be competing against each other for a place in the 1-5

teams have got to work within 2016 rules however they are going to create severe problems for 2017(averages all over the place)if also there is some form of amalgamation between leagues it will take some sorting

i think this yr you had to build a team where there would be movement between the 1-5 and top reserve(all season) will also give options at the business end of the season,teams who will have the same 2 lads at the bottom all season must be disadvantaged
