i think what people are saying starman(probably rightly)is that in effect buzz was a "poole asset" and not available to everyone.but you are right in this years league hes a suberb signing on that average

all our little group(front row seats between start and first bend)had a very enjoyable afternoon however it was tempered by all of us fearing a possible very boring home campaign,can certainly see" b" fixtures being skipped if the "a" match is as onesided as this,holidaymakers will of course turn up irrespective.cant ever remember poole having a good racestrip it just varies between ok and poor,yesterday the riders didnt seem to happy,holder saying in the post match interview that it was very difficult and he was glad to get out of the meeting in one piece,and anderson also saying he was just glad to stay in one piece.middlo and the clerk of the course on the centregreen after the match head to head for 10 mins with plenty of armwaving and finger pointing.swindon were very very poor but in some races the swindon riders just couldnt get round the track.lakeside next wow!!

agree about bv,hoping for the best for swindon tho planning problems arose last wk re parking and the acess rd (full statement from planners available on "greyhound scene" website sorry cant do a link) and hope the developers dont get to much of their own way skidder at poole that would mean more and more flats,lets leave it as it is as a developed poole stadium isnt gauranteed a speedway track

surely tho never easy, it has to be easier working within a points limit than compulsary rider allocation starman,take this yr holder would be allocated to leic,magic if he was riding over here would also have been allocated to another club so not the same options for matt

correct orlov,poole and swindon both have "bags contracts" for the betting shops these are lucrative contracts and operate without the need for spectator support,they are so lucrative that those racedays would never be given up for a speedway meeting,possible future problems are that these bags contracts are only issued for 1yr and there are changes to allocation every yr.

thats very patronising to supporters of other speedway teams starman,think most poole supporters would be full of admiration for the bv promotion for the amount of work its taken to get this far.(and dont forget they will have their own stadium,and we rent and have the same landlord as swindon speedway nuff said!! also dont forget poole town fc are angling for a return to wimborne rd,dont think it will happen personally,but if it did it would be dogs and football only at the stadium.be a bit more humble mate)

almalgamation sounds good for british speedway,could still involve some gp riders its only the top 6 or so that are a differant level(and differant money )let them go play in poland we can still enjoy our speedway just an afterthought if uk votes to leave eu how will that impact on speedway
