Poole Pirates Vs Rye House Rockets 10/5/17
poolebolton replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Watching Polish Speedway. KK took really bad fall and has withdrawn from the meeting hit his shoulder very hard. There is another twist in the tale!!!! Clipped Magic's back wheel. Maybe Matt now does change it. -

I agree. Not enough UK riders to justify that. The top 30 riders in the world earn about a Million pounds a year. Big names like C.Holder earn about 2 mil Would not surprise me if Magic J is the highest paid speedway rider in the world due to his name in Poland and the sponsors he has. -

Not so sure. Will want more races, best mates with Magic and dad rode for Poole. It's a Matt Ford rabbit hat trick. In other news Kyle returns. Thanks to Lewis and Echo Article says another team has offered him a spot "Somerset". -

KK last chance saloon= Hope he does come good If he doesn't Drabik for me. Anyone who can beat Emil,Killer, Nikki P and P Pawlicki away from home is good enough to be a number 1 here. -
He does but they have a transfer window. Lewis rose was out there as well?? Todd Kurtz is Brady's mechanic but what does lewis rose do??
-
Kurtz with C. Holder in Torun. Wonder if there having a look at him after Torun's bad start this season.
-
If we need a replacement for KK i would go Drabik. Is as good as Fricke and is the next magic but good enough to hold one in this league. He is the best young pole not in the GP's yet, yes he will be better than Shamek. Serious talent and Matt should get him before we don't see him on these shores. If KK can't sort himself out.
-
I would keep Lewis for another week. I think that would be fair on him and would give kyle another couple of weeks to recover

Please Sign Shanes. You will help Poole. Also helps that Kyle and Him live beside each other and are good mates. If you sign Shanes you should walk the league. I agree just pay him more than grasstrack. -

Well that could be James Shanes getting a championship place. This could be perfect for him to get some confidence. Kyle still needs a little bit longer and considering Lewis went so well tonight. So it looks like it's just KK right now which we need to change. What we really want is KK to just get some form and maybe Poland can help this weekend. Some come on KK let's get some form. -

If we can't get a number 1 I like this team which was mentioned earlier! Matt really wanted Woryna but he wanted him at 8 and Cov gave him a place! He could have a brady type level of improvement which is good. If you can score 16 points in Poland even at reserve that's good for me. Andersen 2. Woryna 3. J. Holder 4. Newman 5. B. Kurtz 6. Kerr 7. Klindt -

Right people this is a forum but do some research. Milik does too many leagues and won't ride here. Miedzinski is not the rider he used to be and does not like riding here Vaculik is the best option= Gp rider and has said he wants to ride here. -

Look in the UK currently and in reason seasons Poole are the biggest team in the UK. Being Number 1 for Poole is like number 7 for Man U for example. Some People just can't hack it. You look at the riders who have been here in recent season. Holder and Ward= Enough said Magic= Was number 5 but was really our number 1 in 2015 Hancock= 4 times world champ I well it's different to Stal Gorzow for KK = Everyone knows everything. I just spoke to Mr Klindt on twitter for 30 mins. In Poland he walks down the street in Gorzow everyone knows who he is. In Poole about 10 might know him.Yes, there is no big crowds but its still pressure and very close one. On good note Klindt said they were angry they lost. He said Holder is looking fast now and Kyle and Shanes got some extra practice afterwards. Yes, we need to sort out our number 1 but apart from that we are ready to roll which is nice. -

Well i was just talking with Nicolai He described Leon Madsen as S*** and KK has been having carburetor problems. Just what I have been hearing. What I've also Heard is Magic= Just wants GP again and Matt does not want to remove another rider because it would have to be more than James Madsen= Also wants to qualify for the GP's. Thats from his sponsor This starts to leave us with Nicki P , Shamek(I imagine GP qualification will take priority) Vaculik, Lindback= Maybe Any other Poles which could be interested such as Kolodziej, Paweł Przedpełski(Now he could ride) Not getting laps in Poland and just Sweden Bartosz Smektała= Could be an Option Matt will be looking into all options. Peter Ljung was apparently an option for this season?? I think Matt has people lined up and gives KK one last chance against Rye House but who knows it will probs get announced tommoz that we have signed someone, -

Matt will hate this. I think James will stay for now could see it change when averages drop and we can somehow fit Kerr into the number 7 role with a big hitter at 1. If we can't get a GP star. Then it has to be Shamek or Leon Madsen for me best options out there. Another I thought of was GKM Laguta Brother. Very good rider but would he want to do England??? -

NEIL Middleditch admits Pirates are considering potential replacements for Krzysztof Kasprzak after the Polish star again slumped in the skull and crossbones. The former world number two managed just six paid seven – with four of those points coming on a tactical ride – in tonight's 47-45 defeat to visitors Swindon. Kasprzak retired on two of his rides and little more than a week after promoter Matt Ford urged the 32-year-old to "step up to the plate", Middleditch has revealed other options are being pondered. The team boss believes the current Pirates line-up is not strong enough to win the SGB Premiership with Kasprzak's underwhelming points hauls proving a major frustration. Middleditch told the Daily Echo: "I'm disappointed in Krzysztof's form. Six points and a bonus is not acceptable as a number one. "Had he scored eight or 10 points, we would have won the meeting. We lost him at Somerset, which was an opportunity missed, and against Swindon he did not perform as a number one should. "There's no way of candy-coating it, he is not doing his job. He really shouldn't be being beaten by anybody apart from perhaps Jason Doyle. "He's not getting into the first corner or showing the aggression we know he can. He's blaming this and that but at the end of the day, he needs to sit down and think, 'is it me or is it the engines?' and be honest with himself. ADVERTISING "There's still a long way to go but Krzysztof needs to really up his game. As much as he wants to be at Poole, you can't win the league on sentiment. "We are looking at what limited options are available. It's Matt's decision. His job is trying to win the league and at this moment in time, I don't feel we have the firepower to do that. "The other options are very limited because riders are committed to clubs in Poland, Denmark and Sweden. They can't just drop everything and come to Poole." -

I don't know if he has three leagues. maybe not Sweden? But Leon Madsen= He is a number 1 in Poland got 11 points on the weekend in Extraliga. You have to be good to do that. used to ride for Poole is still actually an Asset so why not bring him back. Is a good little rider. Does Nick P have a Swedish club as well. I would say Killer but already rulled out. Magic love Poole but doubt we can fit him in. Shamek does as well but not as much. What you need from the riders as well is someone who cares. KK does not seem to care its a paycheck to him You hear the other 6 talk. Them seem to live and breathe the team which is what you want and we need someone who cares. KK has lost Middlo's backing so well thats it IMO. Matt has a couple of days to sort it out. The only thing he can do with KK is say, Here is the track for the next week get 40 laps in a sort you stuff out. -

Hands up here. To all who said KK is hit and miss well done. Ive never seen a rider who is not his and miss between meetings but between a bloody season. Matt has to change this before the deadline. He said that he needed to improve and we just lost at home. Fair play to everyone else they did there part just need our number 1 to get 10. What are the options then. Lindback= just as hit and miss Shamek P= Needs convinving but could be done. Magic= Replace Holder with Kerr and that would fit. I would look at that option right now. But Holder is now good. If poole got Tai hahaha, Zagar, Vaculik, Tai, There is plenty of riders who can actually fit. Its just a matter of money and conving them. I have faith in Matt The thing is as well we could have had this. 1. Hans 2. Holder 3. Ellis 4. Kerr 5. Kurtz 6. Klindt 7. Newman Would not have been a bad team. Matt must be shaking his head now though, He said he will change this year if things are bad and well things are bad. -

Matt, has sacked current Track curator and is looking to getting a new one and getting new machinery. Calm down everyone. This isn't Poland, we can't just go and buy everything. -

Lindback, would be fine (he can ride another league yet) Killler does Sweden, Denmark and Poland. Lindback Poland and Sweden But, Matt will take a nice loan fee from you for him. Zengi is a better shout.
