  1. Better off away from Poole and he has a terrific future some of the things you mentioned man management then comes into the equation. He has a far better home track to race on now where you can race and he seems really happy in his racing.
  2. One difference Doris Knutsson for Farndon( who we both did not see) i also did not see Bjorn ride one of my biggest regrets.
  3. He does look like Leigh and he also reminds me of Mark Courtney who was also a very talented rider.
  4. Flipper i thought that Anders gave alot away at the gate in his PREM outing he rode pretty quickly though but the gating will come.Technically he is a very stylish rider and his time will come and it will be great when he is a fulltime robin and follow in the footsteps of Ashby,Broady ,Kilb,Smart (3), Keen ,Wellie.Rosco.
  5. He did get a meeting for the Robins the other week and it was a jump to far but he would of learned an awful lot.I think he should replace Jack Smith now just for the experience because Smith is on a downward spiral struggling badly.
  6. Just hope Danyon can get through a few meetings unscathed forget about heading for the dirt get some laps under his belt. The other night how did the young Swindon asset Rowe look? a lad who has a promising future.
  7. Is Danyon back riding on Wednesday? i hope so.
  8. I was doing an alltime top ten the other night and how difficult is that really difficult these ten in no order would be mine be great to hear your views FUNDIN - BRIGGS- MOORE - MAUGER- CRAVEN- NIELSEN-OLSEN- CRUMP- RICKARDSSON-FARNDON.
  9. A home win maybe by six points will Belle Vue replace Drosdz? the thing i like about Swindon is we are still hoping we can get Nick back to his best.If we do we will be a match for anyone what we need to do is damage limitation away and win handily at home and with Zach upping his game we have a strong home top six now.
  10. Only in speedway eh Steve why does that rule have to be there? the rule book in speedway is a JOKE.
  11. A routine home win for the Robins but there still looks a vulnerable look to the side.Adam,Zach,Tobi, David were all really solid. The track held up ok in the end and seeing that the meeting did not start until after 8 the meeting was pushed through pretty promptly. For Leicester Hans ( when he rolled and gated) was decent Scott was great value Dave Howe was very good always in the mix they all did well. Also though he didn't score many points i thought Connor Mountain for a NL rider was always on the pace and being at number six against the likes of Bellego,Ellis,Musielak was difficult i think the lad can make progress.
  12. He is a rider making great strides last year he had a terrible spleen injury so this year it has taken him time to get to the form that he wanted. He is a rider who should be in Swindon's plans for the next five years and i would hate for us to do all the groundwork with Zach then for someone else to get the just rewards.Zach,Rowe,Nielsen are all riders who hopefully have a future at Swindon but come the play/offs if we get there i would fancy Zach at home against most reserves i really enjoy watching Zach making progress everyweek.
  13. US ??? but I thought you supported Swindon at one time.?
  14. You would have to be a fool to drop Wajtknecht as he will be a very good rider in years to come.
  15. Horrible news and my best wishes go out to Mirac and his family a great great rider and a gent to.
  16. I remember Dave at Canterbury Ipswich and Peterborough and he was a good solid rider RIP Dave.
  17. Such a shock Eastbourne i first went to in the late 70s i did not like the track but it was always a great afternoon out.Bob was the man involved with everything in a way like Len Siver longevity were both there trademarks and i admire both of them.Kennett,Moran,Schwartz,Preston,Woods,Nicki others not mentioned they really had some great riders RIP Bob.
  18. Are you sure ???Ellis scored 5 Batch who has been great generally this year had. a bad nght scored 2 Seven points between the two Musielak had a bad start recovered welll.Somerset had Allen / Dean at reserve a formidable reserve partnership those two at 6/7 are quite good.Last night Tungate 10 ( great guest) Batch 2. Tobi 8 from 5) Bellego 9 from 5 Adam 5 not good anough end of does it really matter what the reserves do and by the way Morris would more and likely have scored less than Tungate.
  19. I am no Poole fan but some of the s... thrown at them at times is now getting to be a bit tiresome.I think British speedway is in big big trouble and i think the speedway family need to stick together now otherwise our sport in this Country is doomed.
  20. We dropped Jason because becoming World Champion meant that he would not of come cheap so they went another route. It is easy to look back and say in hindsight we should of done this should of done that.My take on our failure is at times certainly away we just have not been good anough i can except that the top five when it clicks is more than good anough as it showed early in the season.
  21. To be honest Gresh i thought we would barely get a top four finish but if Morris kicked on and the top five clicked we would be fine. Now we have to beat Belle Vue / Poole at home be interesting to see if Wolves make changes they look vulnerable now and could be the one to miss out.
  22. That is the design of the side your theory is to have everybody chipping in with points for me we have failed because we are not good anough at the moment. Our top five on form should easily carry one reserve Zach as he showed in the week has more than pulled his weight need now to beat Belle Vue and Poole at home.
  23. Nothing to do with the reserves Batch 2 points only tonight ( he has been great all year) Adam who again has been really good only 5 Tobi a slow start finished strongly. The Swindon top five has not clicked anough in the last two months that is the design of the side if our top five fail it does not matter what the reserves do.
  24. Well speedy i certainly have seen a lot worse than that last night in the last three years but what you say is not just happening at Swindon it is generally happening at a lot of places.Apart from Somerset and the awesome Belle Vue in the Premiership most of the racing is pretty average are the bikes to quick now i think so.
  25. Not a bad night and well done to the Swindon management for producing a pretty good track tonight. That is the best the track has looked for quite a while there was some very interesting racing tonight.Batch was very good Zach rode very well rode some great lines and is improving fast and for the Wolves Thorssell was always in the mix he fought very hard as did Howarth and Tom Bacon i was very impressed with him tonight.
